“Oh wait, Perry asked for her help....hmmmmm, must of been a quirk in the schedule. Surely, Perry din’t want a “quitter” to endorse him. Sarah just showed up out of nowhere and lended a few kind words to his campaign. Nahhhh, must of been a fluke (just like those large crowds that show up at the Texas rally).”

no, no no. Perry didn’t need Palin’s help. He was just being polite. After all Perry is an electoral powerhouse in Texas. In 2006 he was reelected with 39% of the vote against Kinky Friedman and Scott McClellan’s mommy, the lowest total for any governor since before the Civil War. But Perry is a powerhouse. Before Palin endorsed and campaigned for Perry, he was TRAILING Kay Bailey Hutchison according to Rasmussen:

But Perry didn’t need her help. He is a GREAT candidate. just ask him..../sarc/

Let me clarify please.

By “before day one”, I do not claim some inside knowledge or anything else. I’m defining day one, relative to John McCain announcing Palin as his running mate.

My only claim is that I supported her, on this forum, before that announcement.

Still do.

The Palin endorsement obviously helped him in the primary. I don’t see anyone questioning that. The country club blueblood Bush Republicans threw boatloads of money at KBH.

You have it all wrong. Reading between the lines can get you in a great deal of trouble. When Sarah announces the game changes...just as it did when your boy jumped in. He has had his 15 minutes of fame and just about a week or so as the “leader” in the GOP field. Well...hold onto your Stetson son!

Sarah will announce when she is ready. She will vault to the top of the field and she will stay there. This contest will not be a cake walk at all. She will have to battle those is the Republican party that think she is not electable. Those RINO’s in this party that actually believe the crap the MSM has thrown out there. If that is the case, this party will be allowing the MSM to choose once more our candidate. NOT THIS TIME!

WE THE PEOPLE will not allow that to happen again to our Country. Sarah will serve 8 years with Marco Rubio at her side, who will then step into the Presidency for the next 8 years. 16 years in the White House with majorities in the House and Senate. Tea Party principled candidates will join her to clean up this country.

EAGLES UP SARAH! WE THE PEOPLE will protect your back and will support you all the way!

Out of a deep personal concern for your psychological well-being, you should consider what it will be like on here should she, against all your expectations, actually win the whole thing. So many things can happen in a year. And if that eventuates, your expectation of relief may be denied, and you will be subjected to an unending stream of I-told-you-sos, far worse than anything you have heretofore experienced on FR. It may be a stress greater than you can bear. If that happens, please know that we will be here for you. Like Red Green says, we’re all in this together. :)

Oh, boy! This would be my ultimate dream. I pray that it comes true.

I already jumped the gun and bought this sticker in hopeful anticipation. ;-)

Thars a whole buncha speculatin’ goin’ on around here!

I telling y’all that she is not running! LOL!
She’s not running, she’s not running, she’s not running.
Say that three times really fast and let the words sink in.

SHE ISN’T RUNNING!

Do we need to call Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Green Jeans (and maybe even Mr. Rogers) as voices of authority to let everyone know the real deal is here?

What’s all this Palin hype goin’ around FReeperland these days and in the heads of shifty-eyed, Leftard punks at Daily Cup (’Kos’ is Hebrew for ‘cup’) and Arianna Online? It’s not like Cafepress.com is selling Palin shirts way ahead of Bammy and the Pubbie candidates. You can’t believe those sales numbers!

Let’s get some pessimism back on these Palin threads like it should be. You’d think Palin was the second coming of the Deborah the Prophet or Mary Christ or sumthin’!

You make some very good points and I generally agree with all of them. I wouldn't go quite so far as to say that she couldn't get elected dog catcher, but I do agree that right now she will not be elected President. I am a little leery of the risks that her candidacy might cause some serious damage to the GOP itself and split the vote, but I agree with you that nothing less than an actual attempt by her will be good enough to convince the believers.

Anyone that thinks Palin can’t win and perry can has an extremely low opinion of this country.

I pray you’re dead wrong, because if you’re right there is no reason for any of us to have a shred of hope of coming out of this toilet.

Mary Christ?

Sarah’s running. Oh, yes. I heard Perry on Hannity today. A squish if ever I heard one.

There is no cakewalk for anyone.

If you think Perry can win, best of luck to you, frankly I think he's got some huge problems, and when they multiply with his less than stellar record, he will flame out. He's not the shoe in you think. Remember, several months ago Trump was at the top of the polls, and he flamed out. Bachmann was the next one.

Frankly, I'd rather have a president who has a strong character I can trust, rather than one who is likely to be as disappointing as W was........it's a character issue, and Perry clearly has a problem with that.

You might want to think about it for a while.

I agree in the sense that if a blatant Marxist like Obama can get reelected, then the country's gone. Seriously.
