IF perry should get the nomination, I would work as hard as I could to elect as many TEA Party Conservatives as humanly possible to hold his feet to the fire. And BURN him to a cinder if he goes off the tracks.

I know it’s that simple because my daughter did it in 2003, and was advised by Perry’s own staff at a public meeting at her school in 2007, that if she opted out in 2003, she didn’t even need to pick up the Gardasil form to opt out.
Now if you’re talking about TODAY, NO, YOU CAN’T DO THAT ANYMORE! Do you know WHY? Because the RINOs and DEMOCRATS opened up the education statutes and CHANGED IT in 2007! NOW, you have to get the forms EVERY YEAR, from the STATE, not the school. You have to take the forms to your doctor and get his wise counsel and have them SIGN IT. Then you have to get your own signature on it notarized and send it back in! You can’t even turn the forms in at school. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY for Texas parents when before they could take a one time forever opt out.
However, MY DAUGHTER and the many other parents who opted out in 2003, don’t have to do that as long as their kids are in school, because that was the law at the time. SHE gets to decide what needles get stuck into her children, thanks to the legislation Rick Perry signed and placed into law in 2003. And she doesn’t have to do another damned thing about it. EVER. No every year opt out, no forms, NADA!

At least DU's "Perry Derangement" is based on reason. They hate him because he's too conservative, too Christian, too mean, every bit the cowboy George Bush only pretended to be. Add all this to the fact that he is very much electable and DU'ers really, really hate Rick Perry! All the more reason I feel like I'm backing the right guy!
The "Perry Derangement Syndrome " on this forum is much less explainable, except to think that Perry simply threatens the political futures of people's favorite fringe and non-candidates (even when these candidates had no real political future that ended with the keys to the White House).
It’s mainly because you haven’t a clue WHY there are mandates required, and what opt outs means. As of 2003, during the autism scare, we were allowed to opt out of ANY immunizations we deemed dangerous to our children. BUT, in order to get your immunizations paid for by Medicaid, SCHIP, or your insurance provider, it has to be a state mandated immunization.
Just because YOU don’t undertand what mandate means and the purpose of it, it doesn’t mean that the rest of us don’t understand it.
That’s why people like YOU are gullible to the democrapic horse manure and propaganda.
