It's hard to laugh about 19 White House photos of Obama's feet on the Resolute Desk and other furniture. I used the format of the Obama campaign sending out the photos as postcards as satire. I got the idea from the RNC who sent postcards from MV.

This is so disgusting. Someone ought to do one about Michelle. The pictures that have been published with her bare feet on the seets of AF1 just turn my stomoch. There is no “couth” in that family.

I couldn’t help notice that none of the staff follows his lead. The all know better than to use a priceless artifact like the Resolute Desk as a footstool.
I wonder if he does this on purpose when the photographers are around. In terms of sending an insulting message to the British, it goes right along with the iPod of Obama speeches and the DVD set that doesn’t work in England.
His upper middle class grandparents didn’t raise him like that.

I’ve read speculation that he picked up an anti-British/anti-colonialism thing from his Kenyan father (who he barely knew). But that’s all that is, speculation.
Years back the MSM made such a fuss about George Bush doing things for ‘daddy’... repeated so often - and contemptuously that no one could forget. Maybe a double standard?
