Ron Paul is not a Republican. He’s a Libertarian who was continuously defeated till he ran as a Republican. He consistently votes against them in Congress and they all hate him.
You are exactly right. This is how Texas Republicans got rid of him...the re-district him out. He isn’t running for re-election. Smart move by the Texas Republicans.
