Evangelical Rick Perry's promotion of filtered islamic history is troubling to most American voters!
Patriot Statesman ^ | 8/15/2011 | Aisha Foda

As an evangelical Christian, Rick Perry would be wise to at least read this detailed report from islamic writings on the prescribed pedophilia and sexual abuse of little girls and women of all ages before he promotes indoctrinating Texas children on a filtered islamic history! Does Christ following Rick Perry know what the founder of islam did when he was over 50 years old in his sexual relationship with 8/9 year old girls like Aisha? While the leftist

leaning Houston chronicle might be comforted by Rick’s muslim ties, the majority of American voters would be horrified to know that trusted original islamic writings describe in detail how their founder was having sex with a little girl while she was playing with her dolls. Sadly Rick Perry seems to be following in the footsteps of George W. Bush in wrongly believing islam is a “religion of peace”!

“BTW You cannot be an American Muslim, ONE or the other!

Obviously, that statement is factually incorrect. That is just as silly as saying you cannot be a Christian and be an American. As Christians, our first loyalty is to the kingdom of God - does this mean we can’t also be good American citizens?”

Dude you are way out of touch here! Islam is a complete political system,A Mosque is an Enemy capitol building, with Court, and Punishment ,Tax collection and a military arm,the Goal is domination!!!!Now hell in the HELL do you twist Christianity into this???

so yes, i’ve learned volumes today. and if Perry inspires people like you, then he just LOST my vote!!!

Seriously? Regardless of what type of person mnehring is, are you of the opinion that Rick Perry knows who mnehring is and agrees with what mnehring writes in a post on FR? Odd! By the way, in case the point escaped you (or anyone else) the comment by mnehring was meant as an insult to the author of the article, who appears to have a bug up the whazoo over Rick Perry as a candidate for POTUS.

Nope, I believe America is a Christian nation.

If you want it to be a muslim nation, keep voting for people who help Muslims build mosques in Texas, and sign agreements with foreign muslim leaders.

Perry has not helped build a Christian Church, dedicated any bricks to it, signed any agreements with Christian leaders.....

Instead he gets followers merely by planning a “prayer” meeting — note 8+years AFTER election as governor but slightly before annoucncing his running for president.

Slick One One World, Big Government, Multi-culturalist.

Technically, it was supposed to be an object lesson in how the author took one small statement and wrote an entire libelous narrative around it that had nothing to do with the original statement (by doing the same thing- the old illustrating absurdity by being absurd).. but insult is cool too.

Maybe not all muslims have been terrorists... but all terrorists have been muslims.

Not . . entirely . . true! Or, are you discounting groups like the IRA? Recent events in the news here in the U.S. and U.K. suggests (IMO) that terrorist-like behaviors are being perpetrated by non-muslims over economic issues.

Nothing here but smoke screens......Americans are concerned about jobs..jobs..jobs..economy..economy..economy...that's the bottom line...the rest is silly smoke and mirrors.

Perry has continued to have the RIGHT environment for Texas jobs and Texas economy...the rest is NOT what Americans are concerned about...besides...as Jack Wheeler has stated in an article on Friday..a snippet from his article on the moslem thingy...

Now we get to talk bout Rick Perry. He's running, his announcement tomorrow in South Carolina timed to blow all the other candidates scrambling for votes in Iowa's meaningless straw poll out of the water. He doesn't take prisoners. He's also the next president.

Actually, though, this isn't about him, but rather the profound mendacious stupidity of his Dem critics.

That libsite linked above begging the PIAPS to run, Salon, put up this hilarious hit-piece Wednesday (8/09), Rick Perry: The Pro-Sharia Candidate? The kid who wrote it, Justin Elliott, is wonderfully ignorant of what he's blathering about.

His accusation is that Perry is buds with the Aga Khan. Somehow, that means he will promote the imposition of radical Moslem sharia law upon America if president. The Aga Khan is indeed, as Elliott says, the spiritual leader of a form of Islam called Ismailism, and is revered by the some 20 million Ismailis round the world.

We talked about the Ismailis in The Pamir Knot (September 2010). We learned that they "believe in a mystical, peaceful form of Islam that is the antithesis of hate, violence, and Sharia imperialism that infuses mainstream Sunni or Shia Islam."

Further:

"There are no mosques in the Pamirs, because Ismailis have no mosques. They pray privately - men and women together. Ismaili men are extremely respectful of women. The thought of treating women as an inferior form of humanity as does mainstream Islam is as disgusting to Ismaili men as it is to us. No Ismaili man would even think of demanding his wife wear a veil or cover her face in public...

"Up in these lost mountains on the roof of the world, there is a form of Islam that should be a model for Moslems all over the world, a moral contrast to the medieval evil of Wahhabi Islam of the Saudis, the Deobandi Islam of the Taliban, or the Khomeini Islam of the Mullahs of Iran."

Which is why the Islamist missionaries of sharia hate Ismailis more than us infidels. So good for Perry being friends with Ismailis. To claim this makes him "pro-sharia" is a twisted joke.

But maybe Elliott wants the joke to be on us. Maybe he does know the difference between Ismailis and Wahhabis, and is counting on conservatives being ignorant enough not to know. His goal is to smear Perry, and is hoping conservative ignorance will achieve it.

Let's not let this lib smear artist get away with it.

************

There is, however, one Republican governor being urged to run for president who is pro-Sharia: New Jersey's Chris Christie.

When criticized for appointing a Moslem Brotherhood lawyer, Sohail Mohammed, to the New Jersey Superior Court, he spouted the accusations of "Islamophobia" he learned from Grover Norquist, called his critics "crazies," and declared "this sharia law business is just crap."

Jihad Watch's Robert Spencer notes that "What's crap is the idea that Christie is fit to be president." Daniel Pipes states what is now obvious, that "Christie will never become president." Stick to New Jersey, Chris. Just like you promised.

Really ?? Well Your Islam is still in the 7th century, you need to wake up,

Omar M. Ahmad, Chairman Emeritus of the Board is described as a well-known activist and community leader in the San Francisco Bay Area. He said the following at the Islamic Conference in Freemont, California, in July of 1998, "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

So Christians are Beheading People and stoning woman to death, how about flying aircraft into our buildings??? Europe is a great example of these savages in a modern culture.

Nope, I believe America is a Christian nation.

So do you believe that means that no other religions should have any rights here? That they should be treated as enemies of the state? Because that is what it sounds like.

My Islam? Another attempt at "guilt by association", I see. No, it is not my Islam, and I do not agree with anything about it. But as a Christian, my responsibility is to be a witness to them, to try to see their souls saved. As an American, one of my responsibilities is to see that no American citizen is persecuted for their religious beliefs - because my beliefs could be next. It is also my responsibility to do what I can to see that religious beliefs that are in opposition to the Constitution do not supplant our legal and political system.

Personally, this statement sounds like it comes very close to teaching sedition. But I am not going to presume that every Muslim in the country holds the same viewpoint.

I don’t care how you TWIST my words...

The FACTS are that if ANY nation has majority Muslim, they start murdering and terrorizing the population. Thus the “sharia” laws that make leaving Islam punishable by death. Or simple possession of a Bible.

In a majority Christian nation, people are FREE to worship how they want. What I don’t want is PROMOTING ISLAM and funding it from outside sources to build Mosques. This is the technique used to gain a foothold, then terrorizing the population. THis has been going on 1500+ years.

Are you aware of the “Flying Imams”?

You hatred of Christianity make you prone to destroying your own house (the USA)

Tell me if you agree with this statement, and if you can guess who made it:

"In this struggle with radical Islamic extremists, no part of the world is safe from those who bomb, maim and kill in the service of their twisted vision.

This war – and that is what it is, a war – is not, as some have said, a clash of civilizations. We are not at war with Islam. This is a war within Islam, where a small minority of violent killers seeks to impose their view on the vast majority of Muslims who want the same things all of us want: economic opportunity, education, and the chance to build a better life for themselves and their families. The reality is that al Qaeda and its affiliates have killed scores of innocent Muslim men, women and children.

The reality is that Muslims from Algeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Afghanistan and many other countries are fighting Al Qaeda and their allies today. But this will be a long war, and it will require far more than just military power to prevail. Just as we did in the Cold War, we will need to use all the tools at our disposal – hard and soft power. Economic development, public diplomacy, educational exchanges, and foreign assistance will be just as important as the instruments of military power."

Nice try. I have been a Christian for almost 40 years - and not a mainstream "liberal" Christian denomination, either. But I can see how our country is becoming antagonistic to Christianity, and if we support the government or government officials treating one religion with hostility just because we disagree with them, then we are leaving the door open for the government to treat OUR religion with hostility. I just want the government to stay out of it, and out of our way, completely.

That had to come from someone on our side,But it will not work,Reason being, The Koran itself ! you would have to remove about half the pages from it , Now the way it is spooled together, the whole thing would implode.

I lived there for a long time and saw it up close!

What fellowship does darkness have with light?

You cannot honor a religion that preaches hate (Islam) and please God.

I guess you are “ok” then with Islam’s continued dedication to the destruction of Jews.

How is it a “religion of peace”? And if it’s not, why should we encourage it?

My problem is that you are conflating how we address it as Christians, and how we address it as Americans. As Christians, we should oppose islam the way we oppose any erronous doctrine - we pray, we witness, we are "salt and light". But as Americans, we cannot oppose another American citizen simply because of their religion, or else we make the case that we can be/should be opposed simply based on our religion.

You cannot honor a religion that preaches hate (Islam) and please God.

Who says that I "honor" Islam? And here you are making a religious argument, not a political one. And yet this whole thread is about a political issue, not a religious one.

One or two more generations being in the US and those children will make Mohammed wonder what in the world happened to his teachings. I believe that as the younger people experience growing up here, have children and they experience the same that in a couple of generations the only hard core believers as we know them today will be the small groups of extremist. JMO.

Enjoyed you postings.

A comment:

The last world war (WWII) was incited by a philosophy based on destruction of the Jewish People, and the conquering of the entire world (Third Reich).

Today, we have a Religion based on the destruction of the Jews, bent on the conquest (by sword) of the world. Those that don’t submit, will die. (This is a belief of Islam)

One was Fascism based on Racism, and one is Theocracy based on Hatred.
