Connecticut Social Security number issue: Although I don't like Obama, I wonder why the first 3 digits of former President Eisenhower's Social Security number refer to California, when Eisenhower was living in Pennsylvania when he applied to Social Security in 1962?

Recently, I accidentally ran across Pro-Obama messages on the internet that point to Eisenhower's Social Security number mix-up as proof that the Social Security administration may have also made a simple mistake when it assigned Hawaii resident teenager Obama a Connecticut number in the 1970s, when Hawaii resident teenager Obama should have received a Hawaii number back in the 1970s.

I'm confused.

Kapiolani Hospital: The 800 pound gorilla in the room?

It is now going on 4 months—and counting—since President Obama released his Hawaii long form birth certificate to the world on April 27, 2011, but still not a single word from Kapiolani Hospital officials to verify that yes indeed, President Obama was born there on Aug.4, 1961, as it is stated on President Obama’s long form birth certificate.

It is as if Kapiolani officials have gone into hiding.

President Obama could quickly thrust a deadly dagger into the heart of birther nation today by simply allowing Kapiolani officials to let reporters examine his birth records from 1961, but he hasn’t done so.

Why is President Obama playing hardball when it comes to the release of his Kapiolani 1961 records?

Is the reason a simple one: President Obama was not born at Kapiolani Hospital as he claims, so there are no 1961 Obama or Dunham records to examine?

On January 18th, 2011, Governor Neil Abercrombie announced that while his investigations (which, it was later revealed, included a warrant issued by his office), had located a notation hand written into the state archives in 1961, no originating document for President Obama could be located, and while President Obama’s name is present on an archive index for registered births, no evidence of the type of birth documentation, nor where he was born, is actually present.

It was sealed by court order when the Soetoro adoption was finalized.
