Nice post, leo---everyone should read post #5.
All of us should be very concerned about Perry's ruthless drive to win. Perry's slyness and arch-politician ways are off-putting.
Perrys carefully orchestrated plan to co-opt the Iowa caucuses without actually being one of the official candidates failed miserably.
Perry orchestrated the Perry For President drumbeat, as he laid lowat the last minute he made his movePerry hoped to catapult to the top and make mincemeat out of the other candidates.
Iowans didnt buy it.
Perry had a miserable showingcoming in at the back of the pack.
But Perry's calculated strategy also included announcing to the world he was "the winner" no matter where he stood in the final count.
Not being a Texan, I’m not certain to what degree that report was right. It does look like a reasoned report to me, but I could be wrong.
The confiscation of land issue is known to all of us, the Trans-Texas Corridor was an excellent example of that. There were a number of issues associated with that fiasco that would eliminate Perry being disqualified for my vote.
If nothing else was known to me about Perry, his evident support for every girl to be forced to get Gardasil, would disqualify him for my vote.
If I knew nothing else about the man other than that he could actually support Al Gore as a Democrat around 1988
would disqualify him for my vote.
And on top of that, there’s more.
This guy fails to represent 25% of what I am looking for as our next president.
