I really like what I'm HEARING from Rick Perry from his speeches and I liked his famous prayer from a few days ago. He has the appearence of what I WANT from a presidential candidate.
But I am concerned about some of the questions being raised about his record not on immigration but on ILLEGAL immigration.
I would appreciate some feedback from those who know more about his record with SOURCES to substantiate them (good or bad).
For instance, I've HEARD people say that he attended Bilderberg 2007. I'm not one who has much knowledge on "Bilderbergers", Tri-lateral Commission Illuminati and all of those topics often discussed by so-called "conspiracy theorists". But I don't dismiss them, especially in these days when yesterdays "conspiracy theory" seems to be today's reality.
More than ever I am not ready to believe anyone just because they say the right things and have a form of godliness. Cultists all do that well and are very compelling. I want to know more about his ACTIONS and history.
Thanks for your feedback in advance.
Tote that bucket line that pail with propaganda, just can’t help it, can ya?
Who are you calling cultists?

Yup, Perry is definitely Obama the Second. Thank you for warning us.
I don’t know why he didn’t ram through a controversial bill that had the risk of alienating Hispanic voters.
I am curious what city in Texas was trying to become a sanctuary city? Are sanctuary cities in Texas a problem? And if they are a problem, did this legislative solution have the proper risk vs reward payoff?
The two “buddies” I have heard mentioned as Perry cronies who “made” Perry go soft on ramming through this law are the owner of Perry Homes, a subdivision home builder based in Houston and H.E. Butt (or HEB Supermarkets) in San Antonio. What do either of these corporations have to gain or lose with an anti-sanctuary city law? Don’t make sense.
“That’s right, Perry is Obama the Second. /s”

Perry isn’t “Obama the second”....
Nobody who has questions about Perry is saying THAT.
But some are not quite ready to anoint him as the second coming of Ronald Reagan either.
Perry has to do some explaining on why he wasn’t “out front” with his own SB 1070 law, on state level immigration legislation, like AZ Governor Jan Brewer and Alabama Governor Robert Bentley. They got it passsed and SIGNED IT!
Perry has a GOP super-majority in the Texas State House. Texas state GOP legislators proposed several very tough bills on illegal immigration and they withered in the committee process. Perry could have had them put through if he had wanted.
He HAS to explain that..
Perhaps if there had been some real action by Perry on the border all these years it wouldn’t be quite the mess it is. Obviously leaving it open isn’t working. I know it isn’t all his fault, but he is the one running the show there now.

He promised God and Texans that if God lets him live for four years and if he's healthy that he would "Absoutely" serve out his entire four year term as govenor. And that there wasn't any place he wanted to be but Texas.
Perry is a liar and gullible Christians believe and support this liar. He lied to God too, but God is not gullible and He is not mocked. I wouldn't hang around too close to Perry because God holds people accountable.

Well I’m kind of speechlees Bully.... If you don’t know what the home building industry in Texas has to gain from cheap illegal labor then it would prolly be useless for me to explain it to you..... but I will give it a shot anyway.
If you live in Texas (which you obviously don’t) and you drive into a new sub-division full of new builds, you can’t swing an arm without hitting some illegal dry wall installer or framer. All the sub-contractors use cheap illegal labor. Just stop by any convenience store at noon in Dallas, and the illegals are jammin the place buying all kinds of crap for thier lunch. It takes for ever to get some gas or whatever.
As for the food store industry... Just the fact that illegals are swelling the population of Texas helps the food store business. Not to mention what they can gain by the cheap labor of shelf stockers and their various sub-contractors and suppliers that use illegals too.
We woon’t even go into the landscape and restaurant businesses. The post would be pages.
Wake up dude.

Are sanctuary cities in Texas a problem? .... Is that a question or are you making a sarcastic joke?? Is radiation in Japan a problem?? Well Ya. Kind of...
Yes. Sanctuary cities in Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin) ARE a problem. When cops are NOT allowed to ask those that they detain their immigration status, it puts all American citizens at risk.
The drunk illegals blast down the freeways in junk cars and refuse to obtain proper liability insurance. is that a problem.... Prolly so.
Wouldn’t you agree??
I visited NumbersUSA and, while they don't like him or any candidate, they document his consistent stand that he opposes amnesty or a pathway to citizenship for illegals.
Here's one example of their source quotes:
In A December 2006 editorial, Gov. Perry wrote: "I would rather know who is crossing our border legally to work instead of not knowing who is crossing our border illegally to work. A guest worker program that provides foreign workers with an ID removes the incentive for millions of people to illegally enter our country. It also adds those workers to our tax base, generates revenue for needed social services and it can be done without providing citizenship."

Texas governor sends Rangers to Mexico border (2009)
Texas Gov. Rick Perry says Predator drones should patrol Texas border (2009)
Texas gets a second aerial drone for border security (2011)
He's a critic of E-Verify's lack of impact but it is used in thousands of Texas business although not required. However, Texas does require and use the DHS I-9 employment eligibility forms which is where E-Verify, in theory, takes its info. Hutchison says Texas state doesn't use E-Verify to weed out undocumented workers applying for jobs (PolitiFact, 2010)
A mandatory E-Verify bill failed to pass the Texas legislature this year Business leaders say mandatory E-Verify plan would harm small businesses (2011)
Ten years ago he did sign a Texas 'dream' act for in-state tuition.
“But also keep in mind that the very dedicated Palin cult monitors every single Perry thread...”
As opposed to all the PDS freaks that apparently have never even heard of a Palin thread much less disrupted one?
Just curious...

“I dont know why he didnt ram through a controversial bill that had the risk of alienating Hispanic voters”

Hispanic voters and ethno-centric groups like La Raza and MALDEF have no right to expect any Governor of Texas to just
ignore unabated illegal immigration, just because the majority of those coming in are racially Hispanic.
If I wanted to let in 1 million Chinese into Texas, over time, just because they would work cheap, La Raza and the Hispanics in the Texas Legislature would be having fits. They would be calling for it to end immediately. These hypocrisy of these people is breathtaking.
Hispanic voters have no right to expect any Governor of Texas to ignore a situation that is obviously out of control and harming the well being of the state. Even if that situation is being created by Hispanics from Mexico. If second or third generation Hispanic Texans expect A Governor to turn a blind eye, then they are not REAL Texans.
Texas is at a tipping point. If illegal immigration into Texas is not stopped now and reversed, Texas risks turning into a financial “California mess” in a decade or less.
If you had taken time to read my info at the bottom of my post, you would have seen I AM a Texas.
Your info about Perry is inaccurate.
Should read, ‘I AM a Texan.’
You muslim lovers can go jump. Perry’s backers, c.a.i.r., for one, you know, those muslims that attacked us on 9/11, you and your islamic pals can go leap. Oh yeah...invite Perry’s illegals in while your at it. This ancient old boy remembers when America was great. Now? Now we have a bunch of linp dick kids like you trying to rape this Country with your muslim/illegal lovin’ crap. Good God what has happened to this Country where symps like you are out there?
