I have some nostalgia for those days or my youth but at least for me they weren’t that great when compared to my life today.
The big difference is the fact that we are at war with an enemy that wants to destroy our way of life and we are not fighting a proxy war between two super powers.
But I have faith that our military is more effective than our political leaders and will ultimately prevail.
Two days ago, a radio host in Pittsburgh was talking about Iran and the fact that Iran is practicing to launch nuclear missiles that detonate at apogee, releasing an electro-magnetic pulse. Another reason to be prepared. Heritage Foundation is presenting a seminar about the dangers of EMP.
