Two days ago, a radio host in Pittsburgh was talking about Iran and the fact that Iran is practicing to launch nuclear missiles that detonate at apogee, releasing an electro-magnetic pulse. Another reason to be prepared. Heritage Foundation is presenting a seminar about the dangers of EMP.

You can listen online on Monday, August 15, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Keynote speaker is Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD).
Iran is building missle sites down in Chavez land. If completed the missles will have adequate range to hit the eastern half of the US.
Iran has also placed an object in orbit, meaning they could hit anywhere in the US with a small payload.
My collage kid says this is the most likely “attack” we will face.
My husband laughs at me for trying to prep, but he is fine with couponing, and does that even without my reminding now that he’s found out how much we save. About at least $500. per year.
So, I get multiples because of the coupons, we stock some, and rotate. I feel I’m waaaayyy behind where I should be. If for no other reason than the raising cost of consumables.
But I do have lots of incandescent light-bulbs. :)
