Good point...
This would work:

Sorry, but some of the bravest folks resisting the rioters so far were “immigrants.” Three Pakis, defending their neighborhood, were run down by rioters. I don’t take second place to deprecating Islam, but these men died as citizens doing their duty. Turkish Kurds are forming “militias” to protect their shops and homes.
It isn’t about race, its about culture. We have a “culture” of entitlement, of people who think that menial labor is shameful, but think that living on the dole, draining the wealth of the productive, and stealing or destroying their property is their right.
White, brown, or black, these barbarians need to be killed until they understand their place in society.
Here is hoping the EDL makes a bloody impression on the rioters and that we get to hear of it.
“Doesnt sound like the London I lived in 30 years ago....particularly.
Tottenham Court and Hampstead Lane”
You too? I lived near the Warren Street station in ‘74. I walked up and down Tottenham Court street many a day.
England falls.
“These riots are white Britains Pearl Harbor.
I sure hope that you’re right. It’s astounding that these Brits aren’t fighting back. Have they no temper?
I lived right above where Tottenham Court turned into Hampstead road..not lane..after map checking...cant recall the street...you went north on TC and turned left onto a tiny little one way lane and it was triplex with each unit 3 levels and glass...quite modern...1986...we took cabs mostly and the folks I worked with...London Diamond Corp...offered cars frequently..we had a little office in Hatton Garden
man I loved it...the girls...all those clubs were hopping then and we had a great time
maybe a mile to the west end....the Strand...nice place...nice neighborhood...I think the Tottenham ghetto in question is much further out and to the east towards Enfield
Must read tomorrow.
Not sure what point you were trying to prove by posting that photo of the 7/7 bus bombing - unless you’re trying to suggest that a terrorist attack and a riot are the same thing. I repear, in London there’s been no street disorder comparable to what’s happened over the last few nights since the Broadwater Farm riot in 1985.
And yet you have time to post an article in the MIDDLE of the night? When do you sleep?
Interesting...
I remember the same thing occurring during the Rodney King Riots...
Maybe there is a lesson here for us all!
BTTT.
Those shopowners (Koreans in S.Central L.A. and Asians in Britain) were immigrants who were looking to make new lives, and had invested in their businesses. They weren’t about to let the thugs ruin them.
Rarely. I am self-employed and I also take care of our young child. I survive by means of caffeine and catnaps.
Good catch... I missed that one.
