I have no idea whether Sarah will get in the race, or if she would ever give an endorsement to Rick Perry.

But it's silly to ignore Sarah Palin's own words about a Perry Presidency, and pretend it's all about her endorsement of him for Governor.

I take Sarah Palin at her word when she says of Governor Perry "I think he would be a fine candidate,” “We have a lot in common. I really like him.”

Note that you can really like someone and not want them as your President. And you can think someone is a fine candidate, without thinking they are the best candidate.

But it would be rather unusual for someone to say of a person they had great disagreements with "We have a lot in common".
