Governor Palin Retweets Article from Whitney Pitcher and PA4Palin That Notes How Rick Perry Almost Tripled Texas Total Debt

This is the first thing you see when you visit the site conservatives4palin. Not a photo of Mittens.
>>> I actually like the chances of a Conservaitve winning the nomination, should both Perry and Palin run. “ <<<
Very interesting points for thought! I acutally forgot about the Hillary girls and there are a few aren’t there! You are informed.
I really think Romney gets the RINOs, the Independents and the moderate dems. Perry can thread the needle and get those too, as you can tell from all the squealing going on here at FR, AND Perry can get the conservatives who don’t all live here on FR. What Rick does to Romney helps only Perry, because outside of conservatives and the Hillary girls you spoke of, Palin tanks. In other words Romney voters will never be Palin people, but they could be Perry voters.
You do have a great point on Palin intensity counting for something. It looks like, to me anyway, that she is confined to the intensity of her base alone and she knows that. She isn’t even trying to attract Independents (and would be skewered by her base “intensity” if she did). That’s why she isn’t running, because the Independents & moderates nationally are going to elect the next president and she isn’t one of ‘em and her supporters don’t sound like on FR anyway that they would let her move to the center/center left if she had run. This would be stroke territory for them with the intensity thing.
Um, there kind of is an inner circle. We’ll have to leave it at that for now.
The campaign operation has always been conceived as unconventional to a purpose. She did an interview on the Bob and Mark show a couple of years ago where she hinted at her campaign being based on a broad grassroots effort with minimal reliance on big donors, to maximize her freedom to act once in office, and that it would have to start more or less right away. Lo and behold, a massive network of social media and other connections arises from out of nowhere that dwarves the operations of any other GOP candidate. Yet no direct control, which is good, because it means the FEC can’t interfere just yet. Hmmmm... Is she just lucky? Or is she good? Inquiring minds want to know ....
As for advisors, there are some. She’s allegedly just hired on a press secretary, and before that she hired Peter Schweizer as her foreign policy advisor. Odd move for someone not planning a run. Goes against that whole greed meme too. Why waste good money brushing up on foreign policy just to make a few quick bucks on Fox spouting platitudes?
Oh, by the way, just read a great article on how Reagan’s talking points were routinely being ridiculed as platitudes without substance, um, by the left. If you can understand anything at all about Sarah, it is that she uses her Fox platform to put the cookies down where everyone can reach them, but she does the math and solves the tough problems too, as evidenced by her sophisticated performance in Alaska.
As for fundraisers, those are coming. There is a plan for the mother of all money bombs, set to occur the day she announces. There are ordinary people all over this country who have set aside the maximum gift allowed with the sole purpose of giving it to her the moment she makes it official. Do not be surprised if it is breathtaking in scope.
One more thought. Some of the greatest routs in military history were based on misperception of a crafty enemy. I believe it was Sun Tzu who said you should always make your enemy think the opposite of what is true. When you are weak, make your enemy think you are strong. When you are strong, make your enemy think you are weak. For in either case, your enemy will misjudge you, and give you the advantage.
I think exposure is not serving her well.
I like Sarah...but I know a lot of conservatives who have really cooled on her.
She didn't have much influence in keeping Murkowski from being re-elected senator...in her own state!
She didn’t have much influence in keeping Murkowski from being re-elected senator...in her own state!
Why should anybody endorse yet another pro-amnesty candidate? Rick Perry is pro-amnesty, among a bunch of other pro-RINO actions as Governor of Texas! Remember that super highway with tolls idea of his?
That’s not the article she retweeted, this is:
http://blogontheprairie.blogspot.com/2011/08/governor-palin-leading-fight-on-debt.html
Or...Maybe she just fights like a girl. :o)
As an aside, did you see AND hear Sarah Palin’s speech in Madison? I mean HEAR it, not just the soundbites? If you didn’t, allow me to suggest that I have NOT seen anyone, not any candidate or possible candidate, look the union thugs AND the rank and file, right in the eye and call them out, tell them the truth, and shut them up like she did that day in the rain.
If you think she can’t reach people through looking them in the eye and telling them the truth, you are just flat wrong. For ALL of this, Americans who care about this country still have hope that things can turn around. With Palin, they will believe. With any one of the others, they will vote, but they won’t really know. THAT is the difference between HER and them.
Legislation authored by border legislators Pat Haggerty and Eddie Lucio establishes an important study that will look at the feasibility of bi-national health insurance. This study recognizes that the Mexican and U.S. sides of the border compose one region, and we must address health care problems throughout that region. Thats why I am also excited that Texas Secretary of State Henry Cuellar is working on an initiative that could extend the benefits of telemedicine to individuals living on the Mexican side of the border.
You know more about Perry than I do, by a long shot. It sounds like he not only supports the idea of the government getting involved in health insurance ("bi-national health insurance") for American citizens, but for Mexican citizens, too. Now, maybe in the context, he was referring to relaxing regulations (like ones that make it difficult for insurers to compete state to state in the U.S.) so that American (or Texas) health insurance companies could operate in Mexico, and Mexican health insurance companies could operate in the U.S. (or Texas). Then again, maybe he meant government-umbrellaed health insurance along the lines of Romneycare.
Can you enlighten me as to what Perry was getting at? I know, I'm being lazy not to go do it myself, but I know you're an admirer of Perry, so I figured you'd know the context.
” unconventional to a purpose. “
The “unconventional” business over time has become a yawner here. It kinda puts one in mind of Newt’s unconventional campaign.
As for the underground tech movement, I concede it worked for Obama, but the nation was delirious about him, the new fresh face with the absolute silver tongue, and because of that he was able to deflect the baggage that came with him. Sarah polls lousy out of the base, and sinks even among Republicans in general when she is over exposed. That is why she hits and then disappears. The celebrity appearances did not help her and that’s putting it mildly, so now they have stopped altogether, while she works the FOX contract for the political season.
She is probably working for a DC position under a Republican president, or she will eventually run for something in AZ, or she may go full Trademark. Who knows?
But good for you guys if you’re okay with the unconventional. It made a lot of us crazy, she lost us, and we’ve moved on.
Alaska doesn't have the problems that states with big populations have. Being governor of Alaska is like being mayor of Houston.
How many minorities live in AK? How many people on welfare? How many languages fall under ESL classes in Alaska's schools? etc., etc., etc. ---- or...
All the reasons I would love to live in Alaska! LOL!
Har! Don’t we all? 150%
We could tell you, but then .... Well, you know the drill.
The article is more pro-Palin than anti-anyone.
It’s time she fished or cut bait, simply to avert comments such as posts like yours. We must build up to form a coalition that can beat Obama, not tear down and speculate to make the progressive spoilers stronger.
If, however, we are going to begin to compare the candidates, I would like to see a true comparison
1. that doesn’t mix liabilities and debt (we have a Constitution that requires a balance budget. Occasionally, we have to dip into our “rainy day fund” for Katrina, Rita, Ike, wildfires and other unexpected expenses),
2. that evaluates 10 years properly in context with 2,
3.the equivalent calculation considering population through the years in light of Texas’ originally higher population compounded by growth of 1000 a day from the US,
http://www.politifact.com/texas/statements/2010/jan/13/rick-perry/perry-says-1000-people-move-texas-daily/
4. the relative burden of illegals crossing voluntarily and
5. the transport of illegals from all areas of the US to Texas prior to conviction/deportation and/or DOJ/Homeland Security bringing illegals to Texas, dumping cases already in the pipeline and releasing the criminals. Texas has eleven (11) ICE detention facilities where the detainees are often criminals from other States. Alaska has none - 0. California, 6 and Arizona, 5. The Department of Homeland Security and ICE have been dismissing these cases in large numbers over the last 2 years, releasing illegals into our State. Our courts and State bear up under the backlog, with legal costs and law enforcement expenses along with the hospital costs, education costs, dependent child welfare, food stamps, and Medicaid.

I don't think she is running. If she is getting an organization together it is one of the best kept secrets! Her biggest supporters have no experience running state-wide campaigns...and organizations aren't built in a day!
>>> We could tell you, but then .... Well, you know the drill. “ <<<
ROFL! I hear you.
“It made a lot of us crazy, she lost us, and weve moved on.”
Oh wait! You’re a JILTED Palin supporter? And you compare her to newt the gingrich?
Honey, you ain’t nuthin’ but a waste of typin’ time.
But good for you guys if youre okay with the unconventional. It made a lot of us crazy, she lost us, and weve moved on.
Don’t even mind that zero will probably pick up Cuomo for his ‘12 running mate. No threat. No worries. Sarah can clean pull this out of her hat, it’s a done deal, she’s POTUS and we just don’t know it yet.
No worries, mate!
