Governor Palin Retweets Article Rick Perry Almost Tripled Texas’ Total Debt

Governor Palin Retweets Article from Whitney Pitcher and PA4Palin That Notes How Rick Perry Almost Tripled Texas’ Total Debt

This re-tweet from Governor Palin should pretty much put an end to the outrageous rumors that she’ll endorse Rick Perry. The great article from Whitney and PA4Palin re-tweeted by the Governor directly contrasts Governor Palin’s stellar record on debt and liabilities with the futile records of Mitt “peacetime” Romney and Rick Perry. If Palin is endorsing Perry, why is she re-tweeting an article that slams his inability to control what Governor Palin has described as the “foundation of destruction?”

It’s also noteworthy that the article that Palin re-tweeted pretty much calls for her to run for the presidency.

You realize, or maybe you forgot, that Sarah Palin had legal considerations that limited what she could and could not do about announcing. Contractual limitations as well. The legal considerations have just been lifted. I don’t know about the contractual, although, in a semse, that is also a legal consideration. She might be freed up now, she might not. But YOU don’t know that. Nobody does.
She’s running. Take it to the bank.

If she ultimately intends to fight against Perry, she should have started at least three months ago, before he was able to magnetize all the support he has outside of Texas.

Your post is lacking in historical perspective:

1. Rudy, in the run-up to the primaries in 2007 was thought to be the prohibitive favorite, and Perry is nowhere near having that kind of buzz.
2. Carter, in the runup to the general election of 1980, approximately 10 months before the election led Reagan by 30+ points in the polls.

Rookie reasoning.

Our political system, in it's purest form, is all about competition. Competition in our primaries makes for a stronger candidate in the general election.

I know the McCain argument could be used to counter my beliefs. But truly, McCain won primaries against weak competition (including Romney). The only candidate who could claim to be a Conservative was poorly funded and reportedly lacked the work ethic needed, dropping out after South Carolina.

From what I've seen, Perry still hasn't exactly caught fire on a National level, hence the prolonged period of time to attempt to create an enthusiasm. What he seems to have is establishment support from some of the same establishment that formerly supported others.

As for Gov. Palin criticizing Gov. Perry via an article, I highly doubt that opposition research already done on Gov. Perry excluded the Texas debt. You can bet that the Left already has this and likely much, much more.

The best way we are to have a strong candidate and a unified party is likely for both Perry and Palin to run. There will be supporter disappointment for whomever loses, but far less disappointment than if either decides not to run.

I have to say now that you mention who put the kid in, that the ‘08 campaign for president was effeminate and old hat RINO. Men I know have noticed the feminization of America, the military, the churches, schools, etc., etc., the “Alpha Male” and were sick of Hillary and then along came champ—Obama, and we drag out McCain. I’m now even sick of women in charge. LOL!

Is this the real reason you are against Sarah, because she is a woman?

I know the statute of limitations either has expired or about to expire as to suing her for her Alaska service.

I was as disgusted with her photos with Perry as any other Texan, who knows Perry is the biggest establishment whore the
RINOs could ever dream of. Perry has taken total advantage of those photos and her explicit endorsement for Gov, which he didn’t need anyway.

I’ll know if she’s running if more tweets like this happen. Once is circumstance, twice is coincidence, thrice is enemy (for Perry) action.

I am thinking that the only time Palin and Perry would find the other useful would be to win...the primary. LOL. The conservative tier candidates will be split five ways from Sunday for the nomination, but when the Independents and a few Blue Dogs Democrats and mad moderates crossover into our primary to pull the lever they’re going to be pulling it for Romney or Perry, but NOT Sarah Palin, (if she had run). So. Which of those two do we want to go national?

Rookie reasoning.

Yeah. I’ve been living under W and Perry for oh, say, 16 years here in Austin. Yep, I’m a political rookie and have no idea who doesn’t understand either of these men.

You know, I read the article. It wasn’t written by Sarah Palin. It also did not limit itself to Rick Perry. It was a comparison to ALL previous governors including mitt romney AND Rick Perry. To be fair, they gave Utah it’s due. So to say this is Palin *sniping* at Perry from the sidelines is a ridiculous statement on its face. To say such a thing, one must be a Palin detractorin the first place.

I actually like the chances of a Conservaitve winning the nomination, should both Perry and Palin run.

As for crossover votes (which I detest), who's to say that Palin wouldn't attract a number of former Hillary supporters? They're still here, they haven't forgotten 2008, and some are actively supporting Gov. Palin.

I do agree with your analysis of Perry taking votes from Romney. From what I see, that probably benefits Palin.

I kind of have a hunch that Palin’s supporter intensity exceeds everyone else's. Would that translate into bigger turn out? Without some unforeseen incident, I'd have to think so.

We can guess all we want. The truth will come should they both run.

Sorry, but the Rookie reasoning has nothing to do with your understanding of either of those men but the idea implied in your post of Perry having a ground-swell of support (which he doesn't) and that that somehow translates into inevitability with respect to both Sarah and Perry.

Like I said, Rookie Reasoning.

I think we have to ask.... why NOW. Why THIS weekend. Sarah won us over by her honesty and truthspeaking.

Why now? Maybe it's because she will announce next Friday.

No, Sarah was in my tagline for a very long time.

http://conservatives4palin.com/

The article we’re discussing is the first one on the site. The Perry photo is very unflattering. Anybody visiting the site might infer (ought to infer) that site management has a poor impression of Perry.

Which is fine. Most of us do. If we’re going to witness a match between the two, then let’s get it on NOW. Not next May or June.

That’s ridiculous. All she did was provide a link to an article that showed she had a better record on debt than the other governor contenders. We’re about to have a 6-month primary fight and we’d better hope that candidates are willing to highlight the specifics about their records.
