KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (The Blaze/AP) The University of Tennessee bookstore has quit selling packages of breath mints that satirize President Barack Obama after a state legislator complained
The box bears a picture of Obama and is labeled disappoint-mints. Officials pulled the product after Democratic state Rep. Joe Armstrong visited the bookstore and told the manager he found the mints offensive.
Armstrong told The Knoxville News Sentinel that UT uses federal and state funds and should be sensitive to what he called politically specific products.
The Knoxville legislator says he went to the bookstore after a UT student complained to him about the mints.
Bookstore director David Kent said the bookstore previously carried mints that satirized former President George W. Bush and said no offense was intended.

Where can I order these? Just put a picture of GWB on them and they will be allowed on the shelves again. Better yet, make W look like Hitler, the libs will require that they be given to all Americans with their food stamps, welfare and SS checks.
Cannot allow any criticism of The One, you know.
As actor Jack said: “ You can’t handle the truth.”
That’s ok, they probably still have lots of the Bush Disappoint-mints left over.
“Rep. Joe Armstrong visited the bookstore and told the manager he found the mints offensive.”

Those ‘rats have some very thin skin. Kinda like a snake’s skin.
Pull Rep. Armstrong. I find him offensive.
until the Resistance grows a pair, it ain’t the Resistance. It’s pwn3d.
haha, this guy has a good sense of humor
Would they pull pro-Obama items if a taxpayer complained? If the store stocks a t-shirt, magnet, coffee cup, etc., with Zero’s picture, someone should object.
The bad thing is that they created the mints because they are disappointed that he hasn’t accomplished more in the destruction of this country.
So the question become, do you buy the mints knowing that you are really supporting the opposition??
What’ll you bet that the university bookstore had plenty of those anti-Bush books and calenders prominently displayed near the checkout counter when they were in fashion? I daresay no one complained about that.
I find every democrat living and dead to be offensive and an offense to the Constitution. It would be interesting if flyers were posted across campus detailing where to order both the mints as well as toilet paper with der Fuehrers face on it.
FUBO & FAD
Yeah. 8 years of “George Bush is Hitler,” “Bush is an idiot,” “Bush is a war criminal,” and horrible movies like Oliver Stone’s “W”. But we dare not criticize or speak ill of the “magic negro”.
