When the House of Representatives voted this evening on legislation to increase the limit on the federal debt by as much as $2.4 trillion, House Republicans broke a promise included in their 2010 Pledge to America to post the text of bills online “for at least three days” before bringing them up for a vote.
“We will ensure that bills are debated and discussed in the public square by publishing the text online for at least three days before coming up for a vote in the House of Representatives,” said the Pledge to America. “No more hiding legislative language from the minority party, opponents, and the public. Legislation should be understood by all interested parties before it is voted on.”

Well then... this can be LIE NUMBER ONE in a bill filled with LIES.

It’s getting real close to time for a third party that works for the taxpayers. It also might be time to give the vote back to only those individuals who own property & pay taxes.
Unfortunately, it’s becoming increasingly apparent that Boehner and many others in the leadership are dishonest and lack integrity.
Well at least we can hope a majority of these illiterates actually read the bill this time before they voted on it. Or perhaps they had someone read it to them.
So what’s new? They also pledged not to raise taxes. Also pledged to make eliminating Obama care job one. DC is just one big cess pool. Once these rubes from the sticks arrive there they all of a sudden forget why they came and what they’re suppose to do. Pledge? What pledge we now see what needs to be done and your feelings no longer matter. The DC way is the only way. Oh yea sell my house back home I think I’m gonna stay here in DC amongst the beautiful people.
