The "Debt Commission" will not have any power to put ANYTHING into law. Anything it recommends will have to be put forth as legislation and voted on by OUR representatives in Congress. If we're worried about something that Commission will recommend, we'd better be ready to elect the type of folks who are willing to make the changes that are needed, but won't pass the stuff we don't want.
Sounds like we conservatives have our work cut out for us in 2012.
Well, Rand Paul was on Hannity, and he did say that it would make it easier for gun control laws to be brought up for a vote and passed. Not as drastic as what I thought at first, but still not good.
