I’m diabetic, so honey is out.

But I’m definitely going to ask about the supplements when I go to the neurologist later this month.

Of course, all prayers are gratefully accepted.

Take an 80 mg aspirin a day.

Take a 300 mg aspirin immediately after you think you may have had a stroke or heart attack.

It can lessen any damage.

“I’m diabetic, so honey is out.”

Stay away from all chemical artificial sweeteners, like aspartame and sucralose. They can have bad effects on the brain, which you certainly don’t need.

Start using stevia instead — it’s a natural sweetener that is safe for diabetics. You can find it at any health food store, some grocery stores next to the artificial sweeteners, and I’ve seen it at Walmart in the supplements aisle with the vitamins.

“when I go to the neurologist later this month.”

If you are not feeling well, don’t wait until “later this month”, go in the next day or two the latest. When there is a problem the doctor will fit you in.

Good luck and God bless for a complete recovery and no relapse.

A lot of people do have a complete recovery from a stroke, but you do need to take care to avoid another one.

I hope you are taking it easy, don’t overdo and try to not do anything stressful or strenous.
