Obviously Mr. Romney is trying to boost the appeal of his candidacy with the many conservatives who find his record lacking, but this premature discussion of a running mate might have the opposite effect.

Obviously Mr. Romney is trying to boost the appeal of his candidacy with the many conservatives who find his record lacking, It worked out so well with McCain, we should definitely try that again.

Should ROmney get nominated, God Forbid, I will work for him. Even Romney is preferable to the Marxist Muslim Imposter.
Having said that, Romney in the White House will be a George Bush Clone. Another hold-the-line incumbent who won;t shake up the system.
We need somebody who will not only hold the line, but stirke back aggressively to eliminate the years of leftist erosion made in the halls of our society and government.
And ROmney, like any Bush, is not the man (or woman) to do that.
We need a Michelle Bachman or a Herman Cain.

It would be most awesome if Christie, McDonnell and Rubio all responded publicly that they don’t want any part of a Romney ticket.

...so the message from Mittens is "Hey, I may suck; but look at my awesome choices for VP!"
You have got to be kidding.

    I love Rubio.
But I think it has been firmly established that Rubio is not eligible to be president. So, putting him on your "short list" for VP is nothing but pandering.
