Tim DeChristopher, a University of Utah economics major student will be sentenced Tuesday, July 26 for fraudulantly bidding at a Bureau of Land Management Auction more than two years ago. DeChristopher is an environmental, climate change justice activist who posed as a bidder for leases for oil drilling in eastern Utah.
He kept bidding and bidding, even though he did not have the cash or the intent to pay for the lease. His whole fraud activity upset the normal procedures of federal government business with the private sector. Those who side with him believe that he is a hero saving Mother Earth from the evil oil and gas companies. Others say he is a common punk, who knowingly broke the law with the intent to deceive, and he should receive at least 5 years in the federal pen. He could face 10 years plus fines if the judge throws the book at him.

Quite simple. If you let the perpetrator get off unpunished, you may expect more of same.
Make an example of him.
That’s why I admire Sarah when she pressed charges to the hilt against that little punk who hacked her email.
I believe a little time with some global warming from Bruce and Bubba in the shower should give him some climate justice.
This pansy isn’t going to last 6 month in a Federal pen. This should be an enlightening episode in this Commie Pinkos life. He will find out these damaging pranks are not as much fun as he thought.

I hope the prosecutor/people who got screwed over sue him personally and any eco/’justice’ group associated with him, along with every person he ‘conspired with’. Everyone here is dead on. Make an example of him and everyone involved. Search the archives for every law he violated and push it all to the max.
“Lawfare’ goes both ways. It’s long past time we adopted it against them. And then sue for court costs. E-V-E-R-Y T-I-M-E. Then in 2013, start overturning the laws that fund, promote and encourage these idiots.
I want to see if the judge can do the right thing. Does he deserve 10 years, probably not. However, anything less than 3-5 will make him a martyr personality for the left kook fringe.
