Sarah Palin wouldn’t have been picked to serve on a jury anyway. Just too well known and it would be asking for a mistrial or some other shenanigans.

Thats why I want Palin to run: her servants heart is not conditional its consistent and rooted in Christ not a party, corporation or trend. She is real, and we need a real person to deal with the real problems we face. That's why she'll will be one of the top Presidents in history--on the level of Washington, Jefferson and Reagan.

True, but by remaining on the panel she accomplished her stated goal. Most people called to be potential jurors never serve, but they have to disrupt their jobs and show up, regardless.

The left would have thrown fits if she had asked to be excused which is what irritates me about it.

If Governor Palin didn't serve, the Left would have said she felt she was “too good” to be with the common folk.
What's your point again?
Lawyers serve, Cops serve, spouses of Cops serve, in fact there are many people who might be excluded by Defense Counsel and / or State Prosecutors because of their day jobs. Should all of them get special dispensation so they don't have to report for Jury Duty?

My point was a simple fact. If you think there was some ulterior motive I pity your paranoia.

Can you please give a link to the actual page on the site where this story is? It is NOT on the main page you linked to, and I even did a search for “jury duty” and did NOT find it on the site.
Thanks very much.

True, plus she’s too aware to serve on a jury. You have to be a dolt in most cases. But had she not served, some other schlub would have had to sit in her place in the waiting room, wasting a day or more. I’m going to be one of those schlubs in September. I think I’ll bring Liberty and Tyranny to read while I wait. LOL Bob

Were you saying she should have not shown up? It isn't up to her to decide whether she serves Jury Duty or not, it is up to the Court.
I was responding to your comment by explaining how it works, period. You or I cannot just ignore a Jury Summons.
Again, what's your point besides being rude? Now I have an “ulterior motive” and I am “paranoid” for questioning you about your comment?
Your “pity” is not necessary my FRiend.

Nevermind...I misunderstood what you were saying.

Do us all a favor and read up on your rights as a juror.
Ever since the supreme court of 1895 ruled that “Jurors need not be told” of their rights, our courts have gotten progressively worse. (Sparf vs USA)
