You are a real Renaissance Woman!
I homeschooled my children a good part of the time (circumstances made it so I couldn’t all the time) and tutored other homeschooled kids. This was in the 80s. I realized as soon as I used regular childrens’ schoolbooks that they were horrid indoctrination. So I quite using them and just went to the library and got nonfiction books (this was early to mid 80s) and made up our own projects and lessons, I used to write up things myself to teach reading and reading comprehension. A few years ago I was tutoring an 11 year old girl who was way, way behind and her books were SO HORRIBLE. I could not believe the vile and blatant evil propaganda. And she was home schooled, with books provided by the school department.
You were a lot wiser than I in the 1980’s, although I knew something rotten was afoot, I could not put my finger on it until the 90’s—until Dr. Laura and Michael Savage were saying things which peaked my interest to start learning what was really happening in schools and politics. Needless to say, I was SHOCKED!!! by the sheer EVIL.
Some of the books for elementary school are worse than horrible, they are vile. I read one once which parents had the school revoke (San Jose) from their reading list. Vile ideas.....vile, vulgar language, and advocating dysfunctional, evil actions. Yep—typical Democrat thinking.... that is what they are putting into the heads of children to make them into vile people, if they can. It is the parents that make all the difference—if they guide their children, both intellectually and morally.
