(You do not have to smear (Pharaoh / Imam / DumboEars) Obama w/ lies....the truth does a fine job. :)
To: John Semmens
This is beyond crazy- it is suicidal. The federal government is the size it is today because it has given itself the power to create money out of thin air, and when it really needs money, it just prints it.
But further, Congress cannot cede or delegate its power over the purse strings that it is granted by the Constitution.
To: John Semmens; All
Sadly, there is a lot of sentiment to just chuck the negotiations and give Obama that absolute power. And not only in Congress, but out in the real world too. His true believers are salivating at the thought of an American Chavez, Castro, maybe even Hitler. Scary stuff.
Thanks again John for the ping.

LOL.
McConnell should change his middle name to Bootlicker.

Although, by tomorrow it will probably be news.Mr. Semmens does work on a very tight schedule. Of course if he does encounter a slight delay he can just correct a few details and publish his work as hard news under another name. ;^)

If this is satire, then I’m pissed!
I find NOTHING funny abt the sorry state of affairs we are in..
and have alot of doubts that the Pubbies will hold fast and beat back the ‘Bummer and the rats.
Sorry but sense of humor not engaged on this subject...
To: matginzac
Yeah, this is so close to the truth it may have crossed the line to be gallows humor instead of satire. And I don’t much like gallows humor either.

Honestly John -- I don't know how you can do satire in today's environment. Everyone is so whacked out - that whatever you write (and I know you try to walk the edge of being just slightly outrageous - but not that much...) seems very plausible. And sometimes the very next day it gets trumped by something that is even more unbelievable.
Anyways - thanks for the articles. They are always good for a chuckle -- but like I said, its nigh near impossible to discern satire from reality nowadays...

I have to ask: Does art imitate life, or do the Democrats get their talking points from your satires?
