See, that's why I won't ever make a move like that. You've been there nine years, are quality people with your head & heart in the rigt place and your neighbors still don't accept you as a peer. Not for me.

May have sounded worse than it is. Being born and raised in NYC, my life’s skills are different than those needed here. I guess the main thing is the LACK of population. Back in NY I didn’t care if I didn’t get along with some people in my building, on my block or in my neighborhood. There was a large pool to pick friends from. Here, not getting along with that same number of people equals a much larger percentage of my neighbors. After nine years, I’m STILL working on overcoming my “big city isolationism”. I’ve got my “back door” neighbors and life is good.
