Mila Kunis on Casual Sex: ‘It’s like communism—good in theory, in execution it fails”

GQ: Your new movie is called Friends with Benefits. Ever been in one of those relationships?

Mila Kunis: Oy. I haven’t, but I can give you my stance on it: It’s like communism—good in theory, in execution it fails. Friends of mine have done it, and it never ends well. Why do people put themselves through that torture?

And this is Kunis’s SECOND thing she’s done this week to get on conservatives’ good side. Earlier she accepted an invitation to the Marines Ball.

Now she comes out both against promiscuity AND communism in one sentence.

What’s she going to do next? Come out as a Tea Partier?

Note to self: it’s probably time to finally get around to picking up Black Swan on Blu-Ray.

Mila, why is communism good in theory? Why, exactly?

Because the theory, like all Utopian theories, ends:

"And everybody then lives happily ever after."

"Good in Theory" = "Sounds Great. Turns Out Horribly."

From Communism to National Socialism, throughout History, that is why such Utopian theories are always able to attract millions and then kill millions.

Obama was "good in theory" also.

The difference between American Leftists that dream of Communism and we conservatives that actually come from Communist countries is that, unlike the naive American Left-wingers, we learned long ago how to tell the difference between a Fairy Tale and Reality.

Mila, why is communism good in theory? Why, exactly? Why is it better than free market capitalism? Why would I expect any different from a girl-child who came over from the eastern block.

I never heard of that movie and now that I have I have no interest in seeing it. I think those who wanted to see it already have.

If you read the quote she did say that. It was part of the quote. She said “It’s like Communism: it’s good in theory but it doesn’t work.” That’s what she said. Words out of her mouth.

My question afterwards is an extension of her statement that communism is good in theory. I know she didn’t say that but in general people who think communism is good think capitalism is inferior to communism.

Now I could believe she was just trying to say something witty and didn’t really think about the implications of saying communism is ‘good in theory’, just to appear to make a clever analogy that with a few moments of reflection, isn’t as smart as she thinks it is.

Mila Kunis Declines Date Offer to Marine Corps Ball

First she said yes, but now she says she can’t...

Mila Kunis had initially accepted an invitation to be the date of Sgt. Scott Moore to the Marine Corps Ball, but today it was discover that she had to decline because of her commitments to two films this November.

Apparently she has agreed to meet with him when he’s back in the US though.

Everyone is an actor in this one (although some have multiple talents). Boy A and Girl A have been a fake couple for more than a year. Boy B and Girl B have been a real couple for many years. Boy A and Girl B recently worked on a project together in which they were pretending to be a couple. Except that after a while they were not longer pretending. Boy A now regularly spends overnight sexy time at Girl B’s house. Girl A is annoyed, because – while her breakup with Boy A is inevitable – she has no control over him when they aren’t scheduled for a photo op. Boy B, on the other hand, is back home on the opposite coast and has no idea what’s going on.
