Last week, the Casey Anthony verdict left many people in a state of shock as she was found not guilty. We at MRCTV went out and asked people what they thought about this verdict. Here is what they had to say.

I wonder how many people they had to edit out who either didn’t know or didn’t care?
O believe me...EVERYBODY they talked to knew what they were talking about. It's not like it was something silly like who's running for President or how many states are in the union!

I’m no fan of Geraldo Rivera, but I did catch his interview with Mark Fuhrmann about this case. I heard for the first time Fuhrmann show a degree of emotion, as he described his own personal reaction to the verdict. He believes Casey Anthony was guilty. He seemed to nearly choke up when he described the tragedy of the murder of Caylee, describing her as “a sweet, tiny girl, not even able to put together a full sentence.”
How can Casey afford what must be a really, really expensive defense?
Casey did supposedly get 200 grand from ABC news.
But lawyers will seek out high profile cases like this realizing that a “win” will make them famous, provide media/book deals, and a string of future wealthy celebrity clients.
I have wondered how criminal defense attorneys make any money since most of their clients are no-account losers.
The really good ones make up for it on the wealthy clients.
Two I know here in Indy make a wonderful living just on the DWIs, bar fights, etc for the pro ball players in town.
I would imagine that defense attorneys could keep busy keeping the wayward sons and daughters of the wealthy out of jail. Also, drunk driving arrests must provide much of their bread and butter cases.
