The soldiers immediately freed their compatriots and the Russian oil tanker. They moved the pirates back to their own skiff, searched the boat for weapons and explosives...then left the ship and exploded it with all remaining pirates hand-cuffed to it.
No court proceedings, lawyers etc- they simply employed the common sense anti-piracy laws of the 18th and 19th centuries, where the captain of the rescuing ship has the right to decide what to do with the pirates. In most circumstances... they were hung on the spot. This time they were vaporized, what's the diff... dealer's choice!Russian ships can now enjoy a substantial deterrent effect.... one other countries like ours could too, if they just allowed the people in their military to do their jobs without asking a bunch of totally unnecessary questions about the methods. They were caught red-handed, that's all anyone really needs to know.
And what the enemy off the coast of Somalia -who would kill you for $50- needs to know they will die quickly, painfully, and still dirt poor if they even look at American ships the wrong way... the Kremlin obviously understands the concept of maintaining a credible deterrent, anyway:

We know were most of the pirates and ships are, all of these should be vaporized by Navy pilots tomorrow
Of course, we’d be dreaming to expect that of this administration
They understand the psychology of the average mohammedan terrorist. Mohammedans are fearless against an unarmed school bus loaded with Israeli school girls or against ships where the companies force the crews to remain unarmed because it's easier to pay the ransom . When you start using their own barbaric tactics on them it becomes a different story. Suddenly the promise of 72 virgins in the afterlife isn't such a great thing.
Why doesn’t the U.S. Sign a contract to have Russians protect Our Ships? Heck! We now have to depend on them to ferry our Astronauts into and outa Space! They sure know how to treat the Pirates in a language they understand!
Nope, just flood YouTube with the video of how it went down. No pun intended!
Fantastic video! I love it. The only way to deal with pirates!

May be it will disappoint somebody, but footage didn’t contradict official report (”pirate vessel annihilated, pirates liberated in rescue boat”). No direct evidence there were people on sinked vessel.
Anyway pirates didn’t returned home. They were deep in the ocean.
In the negotiations the KGB learned who the ring leader was and kidnapped his brother. They killed him, “liberated” his testicles stuffed them in his mouth, and left him in the trunk of a car with a note: Return our man or we take your entire family.
He was released the next day.
And a few million dollars cheaper._
No, they're criminals. They'll come here, go on welfare, and vote democrat.
It's the law abiding ones who come here to drive taxis.
Doesn’t specifically show them on the ship when it is set on fire, but it would be fitting justice for the piracy and killing perpetrated by the Somalis. Time to end this mess.
Did they read them their Miranda rights first?
You would think so but I’ve been to that part of the world and every mangy settlement has connection to the internet.
I emailed fox. Whatever good that will do. Yet with this bunch they mostly talk for ratings I think. He is the main reason I do not watch FOX anymore.
I just posted a post that was meant for the Geraldo thread....Yikes proofreading........GOOD. ;( sorry about the mistake.
The video doesn’t show if the pirates were still onboard when they lit off the explosives, but I hope they were.
Not in the age of youtube...
