In Salt Lake City, Utah there is a Home Depot on the corner of 2100 South Street and 300 West Street. The store is in an excellent location right next to Interstate 15. And on the east side of the Home Depot is an employment line. This employment line is the type of line that everybody knows about, but nobody talks about.
It is a line full of mostly Hispanic, with a few others mixed in, day laborers. Now mind you yes I did just "racially profile." But not to digress, I will explain this later. If these men had permanent jobs of the legal type, do you think they would be standing out by this Home Depot waiting for a pick up to the job site? Probably not.

This whole illegal emigrant thing is also forcing legal, native born people of all races into the black market labor force. I know several people working this way because they will take anything to put food on the table. The illegals have destroyed the bottom end of the labor market.
Good point. I completely agree. Jobs I used to see high school kids and young college adults do during the summer are now done by illegals.

Here in L.A., our group has contracts with the major studios, including Universal. I went there at HR office because it’s right in the same bldg where our marketing liaison is located. L.A is mex majority, but judging by the numbers of white kids, who applied then it fuels your point.
On the other hand, I directly know lots of rich Jews who employ illegals in the garment district (I’m sure of it because they brag about it) because they are cheap labor, reliable and will do anything for a buck. They won’t say that about the local natives, especially blacks whom they have a low opinion of which is lazy.
I did a few days of day labor during a 5 month unemployment stint back in ‘08. I think I was the only non-Mexican. Gotta do what you gotta do. Thank God my stint didn’t last as long as it could have and I never missed a mortgage payment.
Re illegals and reliable: Some may be. But I am actually a mom who takes her kids to the park during the weekday, a rarity in L.A. And you can see sometimes nannies doing things that are pretty negligent with their charges, stuff their parents would be horrified to see.
Many of these contractors pick up illegals , the ones who can hook up electricity, hook up plumbing,and they are not certified and licensed by state to do this kind of work. They do not get building permits. Contractors take short cuts , later on the home owner starts discovering flaws and shoddy , workmanship and the home owner is out $$$$$$$$$$...and contractor is long gone
Bet there aren’t many blacks in that line of willing to work folks
I had my original driveway put in very poorly. The replacement driveway was redone by illegals hired by the contractor.
