The media is certainly pulling for the RINO candidates

It's not just the MSM, this is good 'ol Nate...

PPP surveyed 400 usual Texas Republican primary voters from June 25th to 27th

. The margin of error for the survey is +/-4.9%. This poll was not paid for or authorized by any campaign or political organization. PPP surveys are conducted through automated telephone interviews. PPP is a Democratic polling company, but polling expert Nate Silver of the New York Times found that its surveys in 2010 actually exhibited a slight bias toward Republican candidates.

Well, if good 'ol Nate said so it's must be ok, right?

We all remember good 'ol Nate right?

In 2007, writing under the pseudonym "Poblano," Silver began to publish analyses and predictions related to the 2008 United States presidential election. At first this work appeared on the political blog Daily Kos, but in March 2008 Silver established his own website, FiveThirtyEight.com.

Texas has open primaries. Anyone can vote either in the republican or democrat primary but not both. Just because someone voted in the "Republican" primary does not mean they voted for a conservative or that they are actually a republican. It only means they voted on that day, nothing more.

"On the primary election day, you simply request the ballot for the party primary in which you want to vote, and they will mark your voter registration card. You will get a new registration card every 2 years, so even if it gets stamped "Republican," by the next major primary you will have a blank one again."

When little bammy runs unopposed by any other dem candidates in 2012 this is going to be a huge problem. The dems do not have to bother to vote in the dem primary and are free to screw up the republican primary which will have several candidates.

Lucky for us we have good 'ol Nate to show us the way.

.
