Wanted to let people know.... My favorite site, a *birther* site has been permanently shut down. Very sad and also very alarming. Someone posted something, admin immediately got rid of it and still the admins computer has been seized and this person will be watched for 2 yrs.
This was a secure site, members only. You would think it would be safe to post whatever anyone wanted. It is still a Free speech country i thought.
I am not only pissed, I am very fear-filled. Where is my Right to free speech on the Internet? Are we being intimidated? Threatened? Is this the USA?

Was the computer seizure a big brother / 1984-like shutdown due to speech the government does not agree with? Was it a takedown by homeland security?

Or was it a computer hosted on a company's dime, and the IT department or management got nervous about it?
