What would we do without Hot Air? Seriously
This week they really lived up to their domain name over there.
For like the bazillionth straight month Sarah Palin came out on top of their 2012 Presidential poll, garnering nearly 37% of the 6,000 votes cast, her highest vote total ever, and nearly twice as much as her nearest competitor, Michele Bachmann, who incidentally, has actually declared her candidacy.
And yet this wasnt the result desired, so the brilliant Hot Air poll analyst Patrick Ishmael took occasion to offer what he calls hard realities for Hot Airs front runner and to warn Palinistas that the overwhelming Palin victory actually bodes ill for the Governor. VERY VERY ILL.
(snip)
So, Palin beats Bachmann nearly two-to-one with 13 candidates in the race, and still beats Bachmann in a head-to-head, but by a predictably smaller margin. Oh, and Sarah Palin has not even announced yet, and is widely believed to not be running. And Im supposed to be very very uneasy about this?
What seems obvious is that all the ABP voters combined still cant overcome Palins advantage at Hot Air.
Mr. Ishmael then attempts to explain this away, strangely undermining his own readers intelligence and representation.
Hot Air is a site that, as these surveys consistently show, has a very strong and organized Palin following and Hot Air tilts toward the Grassroots Right anyway.
(snip)
Seriously why do they even have polls over at Hot Air? Its obvious that they dont want Sarah Palin to come out on top, which she does nearly every time. Moreover, what Mr. Ishmael is essentially saying is that Hot Air readers are in no way representative of the Republican primary electorate overall.
So why not just hang it up?

Why would anybody take the time to write that useless piece? Who cares, really? Surely Nicole Coulter can find something real to complain about.
What else is there to talk about on Independence Day? lol
Media bias and anti-conservative bias is a common subject for conservatives to write on and discuss.
Nicole isn’t any relation to Ann Coulter, is she? If so, she’s probably a Romneybot as well.
That’s one stoopid pie chart.
I guarantee you if she gets in she takes the whole enchilada.
Why do you say that? I think it just clarifies what the general poll demonstrates. Palin wins. What might have been a bit unsettling would have been those numbers if Bachmann had the politics of O'bama(Irish of course). She doesn't and I would venture to say that nearly all of the Bachmann votes would happily accept Palin if Bachmann were not available. They could also be closet Palin fans who would support Palin if she announced. Anyway, O'bama(Irish of course) loses to the inept generic Republican(Gallup reports and then tries to gallop away from it).
Nicole Coulter is exposing either the utter stupidity, or anti-Palin bias, of Hot Air poll analyst Patrick Ishmael. Either you agree, or you don't.
"Coronator" - is that some new 'position' that the anti-palin forces have dreamed up hoping that she applies for?
In all seriousness, has anyone ever had this position in Presidential elections before? - Who was the "coronator" in 2008, 2004, 2000, 1996, 1992, 1988, 1984, 1980, 1976, 1972, 1968, 1964, 1960....???
I know they almost tried it in 1789.
Now they'll say July 27th. That's the date! For sure this time!
ROFL....good point. and if someone can be the kingmaker why not just be king. seemed to work for chenny when he was searching for the VP candidate in 2000.
2008 - Oprah.
What?
You didn’t expect me to read the whole article did you?
