Shades of Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky

The main charactor believed he was one of those special entliied people who were above others to the point he could commit crimes and not be punished

Mark my words upon the refutation of Obamanism, the vindictiveness of BO, but more importantly his backers, will be so egregious even the naive women of the United States will begin to see.

We are talking about inherently ugly people. The Left.

“impeach impeach impeach”
Much as I agree, I can not imagine the circumstances where the sufficient required number of Democrats would vote for it. If (I’ll call it the side of right, assuming some Democrats will be on it too) manage to bring the case to trial, conviction lies in the Senate, where there are too many Anti-American Democrats and guilt-ridden white RINO’s to convict.

Then, let us suppose Obama is convicted. Do we get President Biden, a man who is demonstrably incapable? No, I’m afraid we paid your money and we’re on this rollercoaster to the end of the ride. Let us hope it at least remains on the track.

Better a stupid Biden than an evil Obama. NOT at least attempting to answer heinous acts despite a question whether resources exist to do so also creates more callousness.

Once a country convinces itself or is convinced that its leader is above the law, it has been transformed by the cult of personality into a dictatorship, much like Venezuelan chavisimo.

I made this statement here on FR at the time of his coronation:

“Welcome to New Kenya (Africa U.S.A.)”

“Where the law of the jungle has replaced the Law of the Land!”

Think of all the vacations, weekend getaways, and jaunts the Pres_ent has taken. There was never any footage that could have been used from them, never any opportunity to film some?

IMHO, the decision to illegally film this spot wasn't just careless, it was intentional.

Obama is throwing his superiority and disrespect for the law in our faces, and daring us all to do something about it. If no one does...

“NOT at least attempting to answer heinous acts despite a question whether resources exist to do so also creates more callousness.”

I would argue that Clinton’s impeachment did more damage to conservatives and the conservative cause than it did to Clinton. I believe he emerged from the impeachment process politically stronger. Not only would an Obama impeachment face the impossible headwinds of the MSM, but it cannot succeed as the Democrats are too many in the Senate. Principled Republicans voted to impeach Nixon. Who ever heard of a principled Democrat? To use another analogy, simply shooting at the target when you have no chance of hitting it is a waste of ammunition better spent on targets you could hit. (Dear Secret Service. It’s an analogy, I’m not advocating violence.)

Excellent point and I agree. He's done the identical thing on other issues, the latest being the Libyan standoff with Congress. He's like a teenager defying parental authority but he's slowly destroying the rule of law in our nation. The GOP has to wake up and slap him down.

Obama is above the law. No one does anything to stop him.

Very early on in the Obama administration, I made the point on FR that if Obama felt he could get away with it, he'd do away with the 2012 or 2016 election. Some tried to take me to task saying that we said the same thing about Clinton in 2000 and the left said the same thing about Bush. The weight of my assertion was not the part about doing away with the election, but rather the, "If he felt he could get away with it," part.

I don't think most people have any idea how much he is emboldened by every unethical and illegal act he and his people get away with.

Another excellent point.

I agree that he’ll only try it if he believes he can get away with it.

With his track record so far he may just believe he can.
