Probably the highlight of his young life, similar to my working for Presidents Carter, Reagan, and General Al Haig as a young man.

What did you do for Carter, Reagan and Haig? I believe I'm impressed.

So there ARE some reporters out there working for newspapers.
It's nice to find one once in a while.

Wrote a daily report for both presidents while in military intelligence. Worked on the Haig for Preident ‘88 campaign as an advance man, bodyguard/driver and fundraiser. Also guarded Pres. Reagan and then VP Bush as a security officer at the Air Guard base in Des Moines.

The others may have the ‘Generals’, we have what wins the wars... the ‘troops’!
We’re waiting for ‘the word’.
GO, SARAH, GO!

Impressive resume, but I just want to know if you got that walk in today, like you promised. No slacking, soldier ;-)

Well just damn.
My eternal gratitude for your service to this country, and my unending envy for having rubbed shoulders with true greatness. Some life you went and had for yourself.

WF, do you know 2DV? You seem to be acquainted. I think I'm kind of isolated out on a peninsula away from all the fun people, living here in Gulag Massachusetts.

Yep, it wasn’t as hard as I thought it’d be, but I was sweating up a storm in air-conditioning. This is one hot place!

...it wasnt as hard as I thought itd be, but I was sweating up a storm in air-conditioning. I understand. For most of my adult life, I've been physically active, due to working in construction, but when work dived off a few years ago, I wound up idle for a good while, and gained a bunch of weight. When work finally picked up, I was huffing and puffing at the slightest exertion.
Just take it one day at a time, and don't overdo it. In another month, you'll be climbing stairs and sleeping like a baby.

Gulag Massachusetts, huh? Damn, I feel for you, but I'll bet the scenery is nice. I'm a Cali boy in Texas, and I miss the ocean.

From the COMMENTS section at the C4P thread:
Six Clues Palin is Running For President-- snip --
I told her that if the Undefeated came anywhere near here I would take her to see it.
She had no idea what I was talking about..never heard of the movie.
I gave her a brief synopsis and then reiterated that I would pay for her ticket and she said she would love to see it.
This is PRECISELY the way that we must -- and will -- use this powerful new campaign tool to elect President Palin.
