Gacey wasn't born in Waterloo, but he did live there for three years and was arrested there for other offenses.

Wayne wasn't born there at all, but in Winterset, closer to Des Moines and moved to California when young.

It was a silly mistake, but it's the sort of thing that late night comedians get hold of and drive into the ground, and they are the people who do a lot to form public opinion.

Perhaps Chris Wallace shouldn't have phrased things as did, but his was a legitimate question.

Bachman could have won some kudos if she'd handled it better.

Knowing when to respond to questions that may offend one is tricky, but this was a case when she could have benefited from responding directly.

Wallace did NOT ask a legitimate question.

Have you ever heard another Presidential candidate in their life be asked by a main stream reporter if they were a flake before? If so, do give us all that link.

I can see Wallace asking if she felt marginalized because of being thought of as a Tea Party candidate? That would have been the reporter type of correction for that situation, not asking about being a flake.

Yeah, late night left wing morons should always hold veto power over republican candidates by their potential to mock them. That way if we're lucky we'll get some moderate shmuck they approve of as a sacrificial lamb.
