Britney Spears has proved that she's a pop star with a patriotic side.
The superstar singer provided free tickets to her live show for a group of U.S. Marines after they made a YouTube video of her song Hold It Against Me, which became a huge internet hit.
The singer, 29, even took time out to pose with a group after her show yesterday in Anaheim, California.
'So honoured to meet the marines of HMLA-169 'Vipers' who made that amazing HIAM video. -Britney,' she tweeted after the concert, with a picture attached.
The video, which has had over three million hits already, shows the Marines taking turns lip-syncing to Britney's hit.
The Toxic singer is currently in the middle of a hectic, 33-date tour which recently kicked off in Sacramento, California.
Reviews of the show have been hugely positive, and the star's decision to sing live has been particularly praised.

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton commented: 'I really enjoyed this show, and I'm being honest. As a stand alone piece, the Femme Fatale tour is thoroughly enjoyable.
'Britney sings live and I feel like this time the show and her are on the same level, Britney seems to have gotten her spark back.'
In the past Britney has been criticised for miming through many of her live shows.
However, the majority of the vocals in her latest concerts have been live- occasionally beefed up with recorded vocals.
The Femme Fatale show is based around an action-adventure theme.
