The local idiot democratic party elites did something that affects me personally (and millions of other taxpayers, of course) and so, I want payback. I remember when I couldn’t afford to live in Willimantic. But that town isn’t the worst off I’ve seen.
You pointed out a lot of powerful points to land costs and values - But look at the crime. More footage of the abandoned buildings, the neighbors “I won’t go into anymore”.
I live in Ansonia, and this town used to be the bread basket of Connecticut. Now it’s a gang riddled kennel full of pitbulls and surly minorities walking the streets and randomly yelling. Stabbings and shootings are commonplace. I don’t go to my local store without packing heat anymore. Further evidence in the Liberal state of Connecticut ? Bridgeport. Waterbury. These towns were at the forefront of world technologies and medicine. Now just struck-match towns.

There is common thread running throughout all of these towns, and while the media may show the death and destruction, they won’t tell you what that common thread is.
DEMOCRAT RULE.
In my part of the country, wherever Democrats rule for long periods, becomes a wasteland.
Detroit, Gay, Flint, St. Louis, Memphis, etc,etc, adn. are “fine” examples of this.
I too border Willy World and the scum is bleeding into our town and infiltrating the school system etc

Back in ‘91 I traveled to England and traveled much of the country. Your video remined me much of the small towns of England.
Vain attempts to capture the past by pouring $$$ into pointless projects while 20% were unemployed.

Yeah, it’s tough. I can understand why some people just throw their arms up and walk away from it all. What are they going to do? Wreck your credit? Big deal. Untold millions have had their credit destroyed, compliments of the policies of The Won and co.
I live in a very, very small town and while we haven’t been affected by liberal policies locally, national policies have taken their toll. It’s really sad to see so many buildings boarded up and for sale/lease. Once-thriving businesses are GONE and I doubt their former owners are going to be very gung-ho about having a go at it again given the command and control type of federal government we have. It just creates too much uncertainty and there’s no promise that Americans won’t have another brain fart and elect another as bad as Obama down the road.
