My son treated me and HIS son to the Reagan Library on Fathers Day (the place was packed) and they showed the first film clip and their were a lot of sniffles in the dark. My grandson asked me why and I told him it was because he was our greatest president and everyone loved him. A woman standing behind me said “we loved him very much, dear,” and looked at me and said “and he was DEFINITELY our greatest president.”
It was just a nice American moment.

Tell us, do, about your time as Reagan’s writer, O Author.
"The lady, standing there in the harbor, has never betrayed us once, but this administration, in Washington has betrayed the working men and women of this country."And that's the way a patriot wins the Presidency from one who is wrecking the country he/she loves! Leave the polite, civil and respectful to losers like McCain!"His {Carter's} answer to all this misery: he tries to tell us that we're only in a reccession not a deppression. As if definitions, words relieve our sufferring. Let it show on the record that when the American people cried out for economic help, Jimmie Carter took refuge behind a dictionary. Well, if it's a definition he wants, I'll give him one. A reccession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose yours. And recovery is when Jimmie Carter loses his."
"I have talked with unemployed workers all across this country. I've heard their views on what Jimmie Carter has done to them and their families. They aren't interested in semantic quibbles. They're out of work and they know who put them out of work... Let him go to the unemployment lines and lecture those workers, who have been betrayed, on what is the proper definition for their widespread economic misery."
"Now, call this human tragedy whatever you want. Whatever it is, it's Jimmie Carter's. He caused it. He tolerates it and he's going to answer to the American people for it."
