I’m ready for fall.
What are the temperatures where you are? It is supposed to be in the 90s much of the week here.
The Rockies have had a few warm days, but mostly rain and snow. This will be a short growing season.
I’m afraid it’s going to be mostly 90s like much of the USA.
And I have to walk home from work today. :-( Personally, I hope it rains. That would feel really nice.
Summer temps came here a month ago with high 90’s and some 100’s. Getting first chance today for some rain in several weeks. If we miss the chance for rain again the garden won’t be worth my time. At least 3 more months of this dog day weather to go. Yeesh. :-(
Rain is a rare blessing this time of year. I’m reminded of the silly TV weathermen who talk as if rain is the curse from the skies. They sound like they want to live in Death Valley.
Hot & sweaty, no complaints here in Indiana.
Looking for some twisters later tonight, happy to have a house with basement now!
I know many parts of the country are having drought or wildfire problems and need rain really bad. There is a fire in NC and when the wind blows up our direction from there we can smell the smoke from it. That fire has been going on for at least a month. I hope it dies soon.
The Austin area is scorched—water restrictions are in place. I look out my window at what used to be a view of Lake Travis. What I see mostly is sand and the water level is very low.
We have had temps over 100 degrees for weeks on end—and not a drop of rain at my house in moths!
Make that MONTHS—I haven’t seen any moths—LOL!
