Until she makes a move one way or the other, it looks to me like she’s perfectly happy to keep stringing people along. With each passing day, it less and less likely she is running.

Do you pay any attention to the things people on these threads say about the other candidates? Rollins’ statement is mild by comparison. I only knew of him saying she is not serious and I would have to agree with him. If she’s serious, she isn’t showing it.

I can give it to you in two simple words;

Arizona Senate.

I believe Palin plans on touring the campaign circuit like she did in ‘10, drawing attention (That she loves) and making gobs of money, without the stress or headaches of managing Government.

Why does Palin have to do things on your time frame?

I think she's smart not declaring when the MSM wants her to.

That last debate was a joke! It's way too early and the voting public get sick of elections being run from voting year to voting year, nonstop!

You seem to be one of those in which there is nothing Palin can or will do that will cause you to vote for her.

Don’t ever use the words “Palin” and “cowardly” in the same sentence.

There is no proof of her ever being cowardly, unlike Mittens,Pawlenty,Santorum, etc.

She is the closest thing to Washington,Lincoln and Reagan rolled into one.

She’ll enter at the right time for her, not when these posers in the GOP “race” so far think she should enter.

That's very true, all the vicious things that have already been said about Bachmann is disgraceful. It's even more outrageous to listen to all the Conspiracy theories of how Bachmann is a Romney plant for Romney to take the election and install Bachmann as VP.

I agree, there is a whole lot of “Delusion” going on, but it is not coming from who they say it is.

Palin doesn't have to do things on my time frame as I don't have one but the parade is passing her by. The Iowa Straw Poll is in the process of making preparations. It is a big deal. If she is serious and wants to be taken seriously as a candidate, she will be there. Does she have to be there? No, but it will help boost her status as a candidate.

Romney has chosen to skip the Iowa Straw Poll. This tells me the guy is scared of the possible results and he doesn't want to risk it.

Palin cannot afford to wait much longer and still be taken seriously as a candidate. There are now stories about Perry joining the Tea Party bus tour around Iowa. Where is Palin?

To be honest, I probably will not be voting Palin at either the Straw Poll or caucus and that is not because I do not like her or I disagree with her policies. I know of too many people (including women) who say they will not support her because she is a woman. Why select a candidate with one strike already against them?

My goal is to take out Obama.

I agree, the idea of Bachmann being a Romney plant takes some creative thinking. I don’t get it. That in itself would be risky planning. Bachmann is perfectly capable of standing on her own two feet and could easily upstage Romney.

So the “M” word, misogyny, rears its ugly head. I did not include that as one of my 10 points as it needs no diabolical conspiracy to rear its ugly head.

You would think 21st century human beings would realize it is abundantly stupid to penalize another human being who through no fault or cause of her own came into this world with a uterus rather than a penis.

That says all I need to know....instead of voting for someone that most closely represents your ideals, you're going to vote for who your friends vote for?

How positively high schoo....(shakin' my head)

Look, I am NOT criticizing Mitt Romney for employing Michele Bachmann as his stalking horse. This is a political strategy that has been around for years.

And I am NOT criticizing Bachmann for being one; she is entitled to be one.

But what disturbs is that the “vast right-wing conspiracy” has brought the two people together and has not told the Tea Party or conservatives of their intention for Bachmann to bleed away conservative votes from Palin in order to hand the nomination to Romney.

If conservatives and TP supporters want Palin’s conservative support bled away in this manner so be it. But they should know before they vote Bachmann’s intentions, don’t you think?

I reject the idea there is a vast right-wing conspiracy. If Palin want to be taken seriously as a candidate, she should be in and campaigning. Do you think Bachmann should wait until Palin has telegraphed her intentions. I don't think Bachmann would be too crazy about your theory that someone brought her in to take vctes away from Palin.

If anything, because of Palin's late timing, it could be theorized that she will come in to try to stop Bachmann's monentum.

There is no greater goal than to get rid of Obama. I'll do whatever it takes to do it and on a personal basis, I believe a woman has one strike against them.

However, I do not know how that bias will carry over in a general--it may be less than in the primary process but I KNOW it is there.

Frankly, IMHO, Palin would be wise to wait a few years. People's reactions to a more matronly woman (think Thatcher) may be more favorable.

So tell me why Chris Matthews is talking about Bachmann now that she is the greatest thing since sliced bread where a year ago he was calling her various scurrilous names after interviewing her and trashing her to beat the band for the past year.

Did CM have a come to Jesus moment? No. To aid and abet the conspiracy to take down Palin. Yes.

Does anyone really think that he really has done a 180 on Michele Bachmann? That alone should make you question Bachmann’s credentials. This does not add up.

I think some people aorund here are under the delusion that the Presidential election is in November of this year instead of November of NEXT year---15 months away!!!

I challenge anyone here at FR to provide a logical, cogent argument given his current standing in the polls (15 points ahead of the field other than Palin, the next-in-line meme, Romney superb fundraising ability and personal wealthh, the media now being “all in” for Romney (Rush Limbaug), Romney having all his ducks in a row, the political deficiencies in his opponents other than Sarah Palin, Romney’s wide lead in senior support, the backing of the GOP establishment, and Romney’s promise and intention to utilize “the last man standing strategy” to win the nomination that someone other than Sarah Palin can prevail over Romney next year and win the nomination, if Sarah Palin does not run.

Recent polls show Romney would actually widen his lead on the field if Palin did not run.

And don’t mention Jeb Bush. He isn’t running. And neither is Chris Christie.

I defy anyone at FR to make a logical, cogent argument and prove my premise wrong, that if Sarah Palin does not run, Romney will win the nomination, and that if Sarah Palin does run, she is the only person standing in Romney’s way to winning the nomination.
