I challenge anyone here at FR to provide a logical, cogent argument given his current standing in the polls (15 points ahead of the field other than Palin, the next-in-line meme, Romney superb fundraising ability and personal wealthh, the media now being “all in” for Romney (Rush Limbaug), Romney having all his ducks in a row, the political deficiencies in his opponents other than Sarah Palin, Romney’s wide lead in senior support, the backing of the GOP establishment, and Romney’s promise and intention to utilize “the last man standing strategy” to win the nomination that someone other than Sarah Palin can prevail over Romney next year and win the nomination, if Sarah Palin does not run.
Recent polls show Romney would actually widen his lead on the field if Palin did not run.
And don’t mention Jeb Bush. He isn’t running. And neither is Chris Christie.
I defy anyone at FR to make a logical, cogent argument and prove my premise wrong, that if Sarah Palin does not run, Romney will win the nomination, and that if Sarah Palin does run, she is the only person standing in Romney’s way to winning the nomination.
Scott Rasmussen doubling down as part of the vast right-wing conspiracy today on Fox News by claiming that a majority of Republicans don’t want Palin to run.
So how do you explain Palin being in second place when you average the last 10 national polls post-Huckabee, and winning the recent HA poll of GOP contenders outpolling her next 3 opponents combined?
Guess who doesn’t want Palin to run:
1)Romney supporters
2)Bachmann supporters
3)Cain supporters
4)Pawlenty supporters
5)Paul supporters
6)Santorum supporters
7)Huntsman supporters
I wonder why they all feel that way. Maybe because they all know Palin would be a formidable opponent if she ran.
