Nice try but no cigar. You even had to cross out the word quit.

They would call it “PDS”;

Palin Denial Syndrome. (What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.)

Yea, yea, yea. I chose the WSJ and John Fund intentionally. Bigtime GOP establishment and no friend of Sarah or "unconvential" politicians. And yet if you read the article, he defends Sarah Palin's decision even though they used a poor word in the title. As posted upthread, the dictionary does define "quit" and "resign" as synonyms. However, in use they could not be more different which is why we have innumerable FR threads to argue about it.

Lib hacks who have brought complaints said they do not consider their efforts frivolous ...

"I must defend against these baseless ethics accusations out of my own pocket as the use of public monies to do so could itself violate state law," Palin wrote.

"Obviously we cannot afford to personally pay these bills -- and really no future governor should feel the sense of financial vulnerability at the hands of those with a political vendetta bent on personal destruction," Palin wrote. "Some have suggested a legal fund to pay these bills. We'll have to pursue that." [it was determined that this would have set off a new round of bogus 'ethics' complaints, which IMHO left Sarah Palin with no acceptable choice but to resign. Blame nutty Alaskan FOIA rules.]

Oh, I see you’re from Michigan. That explains everything.
