Rush has been on the wrong side of media trashing for more than 2 decades. I think he has an affinity for the fact that Sarah has taken this pounding and “keeps on ticking”.
If she does declare, I do think Rush will come out for her. That will be a powerful combination.
I would like to say one more thing. The “pundits” talk about how Repubs nominate the “next” person in line. Isn’t Sarah really the next person in line since she was the VP candidate in 2008? I would think that puts her ahead of Mitt in “line”.

IMO, he's just **this** side of endorsing her. Oh, I think Rush has been endorsing Sarah Palin (between the lines) in his own somewhat subtle way for a long time now.
