ABC Piece Calls Governor Palin Sideshow, Doesnt Mention Her Main Source is Mitt Romneys Wonderful Friend
Unbelievable. Late yesterday ABCs Huma Khan wrote a piece on the Republican race in which she essentially called Governor Palin a sideshow candidate. No, she didnt say that directly, but given the large picture of Governor Palin right beneath the words sideshow candidate, the intent is clear. That ABC would do a hit-piece on Governor Palin is not exactly unbelievable, of course. Far from it. But heres what I found noteworthy. The main source for Humas article is Ron Kaufman, whom Khan describes as a:
Republican strategist who worked on George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagans campaigns.

In March, Cape Cod Today suggested that Kaufman is Mitts new main man. A quick look at Kaufmans Twitter indicates hes got a fever, and the only cure is more Mitt Romney. Lest you think Kaufman has only recently worked for Romney, click here to see video of Romney Sr. Advisor Ron Kaufman discussing Mitts performance in the New Hampshire Primary in 2008. Heres video of Romney campaign spokesman Ron Kaufman on MSNBC in 2007, claiming that Romney is an economic conservative. And finally, we present video of Romney Senior Advisor Ron Kaufman, whom Mitt calls his wonderful friend extolling Mitt Romneys pro-choice bonafides in 2007:

If Palin is a sideshow, who’s that weird guy in the cage over there labeled “Obama”?
Well that does it. Romney is off the list for Sarah’s VP.
ITA, they are just trying to steer in a second-rate candidate like they did with McCain and Dole.
Romney is the John McCain of 2012..
Love how the people who will never ever vote for a Repub telling us who they prefer.
Pray for America
Romney: Obama lite.
Even Obama lite is better than Obama. Romney is my last choice of the Republican probables but I would surely vote for him instead of Obama, or sit it out.
Sitting it out is not an option since it guarantees Obama stays. We have to get both houses of congress solidly in our corner (Conservative policies, not just more of the same Repubs) and come Obama or Obama lite we can reverse some of the damage.
I now see I was a little unclear. Meant I would vote for Romney before I would vote for Obama and before I would sit it out. A vote for Romney is better than either of those.
I have been one of the most vocal Freepers against sitting the elections out, like the last time with McCain vs Obama. I am against it for the same reason you are - it is the same as a vote for the other side.
