As a Candidate whom Many Pro-lifers Would Like to Support: her actual abortion record and rhetoric is shocking to the conscience in that Sarah Palin:
- happily appointed in 2009 a Planned Parenthood board member to the Alaska Supreme Court
- indicates that chemical abortifacients that kill the youngest children should be legal
- distinguishes between her "personal" and public pro-life views (personally pro-life means officially pro-choice)
- rather than fighting for protection, Sarah indicates support even for public funding to kill some unborn children - whitewashes other candidates misleading millions to believe that pro-choice politicians are pro-life
- allows her name to be used in ads promoting even tax-funded embryonic stem cell "research"
- harms personhood by holding that "equal protection" should not apply to unborn children
- has never announced support for any state's personhood amendment nor the Federal Human Personhood Amendment
- opposes personhood by claiming that the majority can decide to legalize the killing of children.
In her vice-presidential acceptance speech Sarah said, "there is a time for politics and a time for leadership."1 During the above, which time was it for her? Sources below document Sarah Palin's tragic record and political rhetoric.
Summary:
Sarah Palin claims to be personally pro-life but her words and actions prove that she is officially pro-choice and stands against the God-given right to life of the unborn. Even if Roe v. Wade were reversed, Palin says she would still leave the decision to kill children to others.

Which other of our unalienable rights can the states alienate other than the supreme right, the right to live?
"...the Declaration of Independence is the RINGBOLT to the chain of your nation's destiny; so, indeed, I regard it. The principles contained in that instrument are saving principles. Stand by those principles, be true to them on all occasions, in. all places, against all foes, and at whatever cost." -- Frederick Douglass
A Mittwitt trying to paint Palin as pro-abortion!?!?!?! Wow, if that isn’t PK, I don’t know what is! Next thing you know, Palin will have been a part of Romneycare!
Ahh, I love the smell of desperation in the morning.
That’s a very nice round-up. Thank you.
Giving up every American constitutional principle that argues against child-killing is "a good way to save lives"? LOL...wow.
What good is another Constitutional Amendment to protect innocent human life when folks just ignore the multiple Amendments to that effect that we already have?
"No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law."
"No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
I’m not comfortable with Sarah Palin, but this attack is just silly. She is not pro choice. Period.
That’s all nonsense. No one at American Right to Life supports Romney. That’s laughable. Many of them were very active in the effort to fully expose him over the last four years.
She is pro-choice for states, though.
Thank you for posting that detailed information.
Q: Why is Roe v. Wade a bad decision?
A: I think it should be a states issue not a federal government-mandated, mandating yes or no on such an important issue. Im, in that sense, a federalist, where I believe that states should have more say in the laws of their lands and individual areas. Now, foundationally, its no secret that Im pro-life that I believe in a culture of life is very important for this country. Personally thats what I would like to see further embraced by America.

You obviously have a problem distinguishing between an individual's personal beliefs and their political posture.
Believing that the decision regarding this issue belongs at the state level rather than at the federal level is in no way proof of a person's personal belief. Yet that is what you are insisting on. Frankly, it shows you to either be rather shallow and undiscerning in your thinking, or standing on bias and innuendo. Judging by your adamant disregard for logic, it's likely the latter.
One can be pro-life yet understand that eliminating Roe vs. Wade at the federal level, and subjecting further control to the states is a strong first step in the long road of eliminating abortion completely. But then again, that's an uncomfortable thought to one who's bias clouds their sensibilities...
None of these claims are documented. There are so many lies about Palin, don’t take anything you hear about her to heart without documentation. For me, she’s got enough documented problems.
Trig.
So, overturning Roe under 10th Amendment auspices would be the destruction of the cornerstone of the republic?
Are you serious?
The only way you'll ever get what you want is a Constitution Amendment stating that from the time of conception a child is covered by the Bill of Rights.
And, that's one very long row to hoe. It's likely to never be achieved.
As per the requirement of Article VI, all officers of government, at every level, in every branch, swear to support the Constitution.
And the Constitution forbids the killing of innocent persons. It also imperatively demands that the states protect the innocent life of every person, and that they provide for the equal protection of the laws.
It’s not optional.
Well, jobim, with over 110 replies to your request and question, what have you learned?
Amen! I am about as prolife as ne can get however I know that the US ecomony and her downfall are front and center and without her the whole prolife agenda could be a moot point if we are owned by China.
He's obviously learned to keep his mouth shut. There are others who would do well to learn that.
