I always SEARCH before I post. I search BOTH TITLES if there are two. There are numerous times that a search does not show an article has posted in a thread and it has.
Just a FYI for all ya'll mods out there in moderator land that get snarky.
MOVING ON and TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT Where's Obama? Golfing?
Yeahbut, what happens when you jump the snark?

Been there, done that, know how it feels.

Hmmmmm, next time I’ll try dropping the three letter words.
Worth a try, I suppose.
I’m not allowed to snark. So I just post quotes from mods snarking. ; )
Hey. Hey..........personal attacks aren't allowed here..........
LOL do you have a secret thread you talk about snarking in?
For example, let’s pick a current story that is running everywhere in the media...
Cell phones that might cause cancer.
I toss out ‘cell’ because I want longer words. So, I do a title search for ‘phone’ and ‘cancer’.
Voila....

But it likes four letter words beginning with F or S, like Frak or Snit.
Search works fine for me. One or two main words from the title, not the entire title, and make sure it hasn’t defaulted to keywords on ya. Spelchek on the other hand.....
I have not posted in a week and you go and pick the other subject I posted about today.
I better get to my FReeperholic meeting.
You don’t need to pate entire article titles to search... there is a concept known as keywords - take ONE WORD from a title, and search on that... your choice of words will dramatically impact the quality of your search. And the word should be more than three letters... just a hint :)
Just a little good-natured ribbing, FRiend...
;-)
I am posting to you now will YOU see it or another admin mod?
With the depression has sidebar mods been laid off or ever promoted?
OK...here’s a different one....

wall street baffled
I know LOL. My cell phone cancer thread was in blogger land and I mispelled a word in the title so I think we need an edit/spell check button for the title to.
It is not intuitive and annoying.
Why can't we have search like the Advanced search on Google where we can put key words in a key word box, titles in a title box, etc. Or why not just let us type into a box and list the appropriate control words with a couple of examples?
Yes.
No.
Yes.
I think we should ALL also have the ability to FIRE all of the senate and Congress (but the tea party) and vote to impeach Obama and be removed from office and we all win the lottery.
