Trump: Palin wants me to run
By Laura Donovan - The Daily Caller

While catching up over pizza slices in Times Square, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin advised billionaire Donald Trump to “get back” in the presidential races, according to the “Celebrity Apprentice” host.

During a Wednesday “Fox and Friends” interview, Trump told host Gretchen Carlson that he and Palin discussed a myriad of topics.

“Did she try to encourage you to get back in the race because you were, in fact, a couple weeks ago saying you were sticking with Celebrity Apprentice, instead?” asked Carlson.

“Well, she’d love me to get back,” Trump responded. “You know, I had great poll numbers.”

But when host Steve Doocy inquired about Trump and Palin “teaming up in some fashion,” the real estate powerhouse said this particular subject was not brought up.

“We really did not [talk about that]. We talked about lots of things. We did not talk about that,” Trump said.

Several weeks ago, Trump announced that he would not seek 2012 presidency but instead stick with his show.

“I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election,” Trump said in a statement last month. “I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.”

Especially when compared to Palin, indeed, Trump’s a liberal. If they do decide to team up, though, Palin will make it all work for the country, and for her. I know this because I trust her judgment.

Maybe Trump has a secret unconventional plan to jump in at the end of the race, win the primary and beat Obama, after all his ‘poll numbers looked good’. Maybe his is using his Apprentice TV show to ‘get his message out bypassing the MSM’ before ‘jumping in’...look how the MSM is following him...LOL

What a character Trump is, ..:) Trump is like the laugh of the day.

She is fortunate to have a supportive, pro-active spouse and partner.

Definitely chaos and confusion is part of the dynamic. And it will be hard for the MSM/Dems to hit a moving target.

Agreed, it is fun to watch.

You first. Gimme your definition of a liberal. Something more meaningful than “Trump”, please.

They’re latching on to each other for the same reasons. PUBLICITY.

Trump could run interference for Palin—clearing the field for Sarah. No, Trump isn’t a Conservative—he’s a capitalist and his kind can’t survive or grow rich in Obama’s People’s Republic. Trump/Palin help each other and help America.

That’s not what the majority of people care about. The 2012 election will not be won/lost on Obama’s college transcripts. Of course the Dems would love nothing more if that’s what the GOP focused on. Obama would be a shoe-in for another four years.

Just because he has a lot of money doesn’t make him a capitalist. You wouldn’t call George Soros a capitalist, would you?

Gimme your definition of a liberal. Something more meaningful than “Trump”, please.

Pro abortion
Believes in government run universal health care
Big supporter of the U.N.
Donated money to Harry Reid and Chuck U. Schumer LAST YEAR.
Thinks Hillary Clinton would make a great President.

How's that for starters?

Any professional writer (or editor) who opts for "a myriad of" over the more elegant and proper use of the word "myriad" loses me from the start, as silly as that is (and yes, I know it's silly ... language is dynamic whether one likes it or not). But "He and Palin discussed a myriad of topics" instead of "He and Palin discussed myriad topics," indicates I'm reading something from a "pro" (or a "pro" editor) who isn't quite. So it's wise to take the story with a big grain of salt.

Don’t you know as long as you hammer Obama on his birth certificate you’re automatically a conservative regardless of any other positions you hold/held.

I think Palin (and Trump for that matter) bring dynamic energy and zeal to the party. The Republican line-up sorely lacks in that right now.

That I agree with, and I'll add Herman Cain to the "energy and zeal" list.

Didn’t think it possible, but you have decreased your depth of thought from a pothole to a puddle.

I almost fell for Trump for a while there...

That said, he wouldn’t take a cabinet post...why would he?

At MOST I could see him being an unofficial advisor, as in someone you call up or email for expert business advice about something.

I love how the elites constantly call her stupid and an “Alaskan snowbilly”...and yet, look at her. She’s got the MBM steppin’ and fetchin’ to her tune, following her bus tour around like a pack of hungry puppies and whining that she’s not worshipping them enough. She’s playing the media like Neil Peart plays a drum set or Jimi Hendrix played a guitar, and it’s BEAUTIFUL to watch. If she’s so stupid, what does that make them?

Soros is a capitalist—a crony Capitalist of the worst sort. Trump is an old school capitalist in the mode of J.P. Morgan. Whats good for Donald Trump is good for the USA (or so he thinks). He has tied his star to Sarah Palin and he will make a fortune on it—you betcha. I hope he does all in his power to see her in the White House and is along for the ride to bring back America.

Palin would love for Trump to run a primary campaign because Trump would pull all the oxygen out of the room from the other big-government republicans, and siphon no votes from her. Get it? or had you already figured that out?
