Trump: Palin wants me to run While catching up over pizza slices in Times Square, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin advised billionaire Donald Trump to get back in the presidential races, according to the Celebrity Apprentice host. During a Wednesday Fox and Friends interview, Trump told host Gretchen Carlson that he and Palin discussed a myriad of topics. Did she try to encourage you to get back in the race because you were, in fact, a couple weeks ago saying you were sticking with Celebrity Apprentice, instead? asked Carlson. Well, shed love me to get back, Trump responded. You know, I had great poll numbers. But when host Steve Doocy inquired about Trump and Palin teaming up in some fashion, the real estate powerhouse said this particular subject was not brought up. We really did not [talk about that]. We talked about lots of things. We did not talk about that, Trump said. Several weeks ago, Trump announced that he would not seek 2012 presidency but instead stick with his show. I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election, Trump said in a statement last month. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.

i hope its simply her being polite. Trump is a liberal
I’m with you, ej. She is picking up on his China message in some fashion, which is interesting.
Trump would be uniquely qualified to be US Trade Representative in a Palin administration.
Palin is lining up Trump for a top spot. And an endorsement - not by Palin. By Trump.
Then some campaign cash, ending with a cabinet post.
IMO. I would be overjoyed to see Trump leading our trade policy. That is, pretending we actually have a trade policy.
(Dang, that sounds like a Weiner thread post.)
Americans’ increasing frustration with our so-called “leadership” while China continues to take Americans’ jobs and life savings - will soon reach critical mass.
If the GOP does not get in front of that wave, it will destroy the GOP.
First candidate to run with it, will win.
No one, except Obama has a bigger ego than Trump. He’s latching on to Palin b/c she’s a press magnet. I don’t remember him talking her up back in 2008.
If The Donald financially backs Palin...that would make some waves...but I still fear she can’t beat The One.
Pretty sad that’s she’s hitting up a liberal for money.
Pretty sad you spend so much time complaining about her.
So is most of the GOP field. I still think that Trump is Palin's best chance of sinking Romney in the early primaries. Romney can drop out again after he gets trounced multiple times, and the field becomes clearer for Palin.
Without Trump, I'm not sure how she stops Romney. He's been campaigning for 6 years, has a solid on the ground effort in the early primary states, and a whole lot of people who've voted for him before. Not to mention the MSN recognizes how massive a threat Trump is to The Zero, and how much of a financial drain it would be on the Democrats with Trump just as a possibility (putting New York in play.)
Honestly, it really feels like Palin gathered up all those GOP whisperers and ejected them a couple weeks ago, then sat down at the kitchen table and plotted out how to win the election.
Chances are that Trump is lying anyway.
Trump would make a good VeeP.. (probably)..
BUT a lousy President..

The Dream of a President kick butts Trump (or If only Trump ran.. )
LOL thanks for the laugh, Trump is the MASTER at playing the MSM suckers. He really ran an 'unconventional' campaign.
Nope, she met someone better.
Keep in mind Palin called Trump that she was in town...who had prior invited her when ever she might be in town. Sarah called him...so I have no problem with this.
In fact I found it another brilliant move on Sarah’s part. As for him latching onto her...he pretty much had the stage without her before. Neither of them need each other, which is another reason why this was a good move.
