Uh, because this is a free country and you are allowed to run under different ballot lines. There is nothing to "bring charges" for. While underhanded, what he did was perfectly legal.
Based on what I read the GOP candidate did go after him and try to expose his leftism. If not enough people were paying attention and voted for him because they thought he was a good guy then they are more stupid than we think. Almost makes 2010 look like a fluke. I guess these voters have no problem with Pelosi care either. So now they get a liberal Democrat rep. so they get what they deserve. When she votes down the line with 0bama and Pelosi no Republican who voted for her or Davis has any right to complain, IMO.
