Free Republic, Freedom's Last Stand On The Internet | Friday the 13th! Spooky, Like Spooky Dude! | Alan Levy

If you're like me, (and I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you are, since very few liberals will read a column penned by someone with the nickname Absolutely Nobama) odds are you get annoyed when liberals try to show their "compassion" by imposing taxes on others. They'll do anything to prove their point. They'll curse. They'll weep. They might even invoke the name of Jesus (like the Sinister Ministers Jim Wallis and Jeremiah Wrong). Check out some of these user posts from the dorks who waste their days in the socialist echo chamber at Moveon.Dork: (All spelling and grammatical errors are left in for effect.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Funny how quick we are to espouse this free market thing. "Just give me my money and I will donate it to MY CHARITY" Yet, in reality- we just keep "taking care our our own" e.g. the people that don't need it. (which, among other things is simply an accepted form of racism)... Truth is people on government assistance do not have livable wages, let alone "Great Health Care" and it is naive to think so (and I would welcome anyone who wants to contest this to try to subsist on their subsidies-- which were I live is less than $200 per month plus food stamps-- and the clinics that they go to-- I have seen better in developing countries-- quit being so narcissistic and realize that this is not a race to the bottom. Taking care of our disadvantaged will make us a stronger society in the long-term."

http://front.moveon.org/kids-to-congress-can-we-get-a-bailout-too/

"Nope. Capitalism is wrong, morally and economically."

http://front.moveon.org/extra-gop-gets-major-wake-up-call-at-town-halls-this-week/

"You can cover up institutional racism with the lie that those who point out your complicity in it are the racists. But you seek to preserve the racist status quo by pretending that it doesn't exist. If a slave points their finger at the master and says, 'You are a master!' it does not follow that the slave is wrong for pointing it out. Likewise, when white privilege is acknowledged, the acknowledger is not racist--the person perpetuating and preserving white power is the racist."

http://front.moveon.org/extra-gop-gets-major-wake-up-call-at-town-halls-this-week/

"Great, so you're going to let people die instead of letting them into the ER? I don't think doctors will go for that - most of them have a conscience.

Newsflash: all that 'liberty' and $$$ you saved on taxes isn't making you any happier. Most Americans don't want to live in a society that's that cruel.

I like the sound of that - cruel medicine or a public option - you decide. We need to talk more about cold-hearted conservatives. Turn these propagandist terms on their heads."

http://front.moveon.org/wow-vermont-senate-passes-single-payer-health-care/

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We could go on and on, but quite frankly, for a bunch that's stoned all the time, they're a depressing lot.

But if you'll notice, they never talk about spending their own money. They'll tell you how "oppressed" they are and how "oppressive" Das System is, but when it comes to spending their own money, liberals have short arms and deep pockets, sort of like John Kerry, Tim Geithner, Nazi Pelosi, Bono, Michael Moore, and Bill Maher. (The glitterati of the bourgeois socialist movement.)

Now, I'm a firm believer in the inherent good of mankind. (Cue up the Pollyanna music.) Perhaps the 2+2=5'ers don't realize that concerned citizens like themselves can actually make donations to the federal government. (Please stop laughing. I'm trying to be civil here. I took the Civilty Pledge....Ok... Ok...It's funny as hell!) For the "collective good", I will now post how the liberals can let THEIR "extra money" be put to good use instead of sitting in a bank account or being wasted on 'shrooms. Lead the way, libs! You first, bunkie!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How do I make a contribution to the U.S. government?

"Citizens who wish to make a general donation to the U.S. government may send contributions to a specific account called 'Gifts to the United States.' This account was established in 1843 to accept gifts, such as bequests, from individuals wishing to express their patriotism to the United States. Money deposited into this account is for general use by the federal government and can be available for budget needs. These contributions are considered an unconditional gift to the government. Financial gifts can be made by check or money order payable to the United States Treasury and mailed to the address below."

So is it tax deductible?

Dunno. As stupid as our “government”, probably.

Whoops! Friday the 13th is striking hard!

Let’s try that again:

Dunno. As stupid as our “government” is, I wouldn’t doubt it.

There are many successful private charitable food banks around the country. These organizations fill the needs government welfare doesn’t meet.

That’s right, the government programs have not wiped out hunger, it is private charity that does so.

Of course, expecting a lib to understand this is similar to expecting a lib to actually give something to charity rather than use the government to subsidize their compassion.

Government programs CREATE poverty. Visit any Section 8 housing project for further details.

Ben Franklin was right when he said the best way to end poverty was to not make people comfortable in it.

“I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”

Why don’t our elected “leaders” see it that way ?

I know the answer, but asking it every so often makes me feel good...

Quite simply, their concern is not the country but rather their own reelection and power. It’s all about protecting their positions not the country.

The fastest way to shut up a liberal on a rant about the “poor” is to educate them as what Jesus would really want them to do.
My favorite example is that of adopting a strugling single mom and her family. True Christianity will take that woman to the grocery the week she had a huge repair bill and buy her a week’s worth of groceries. It’s replacing the battery in her car, or even the tires if needed. It’s taking her child to the doctor and paying the bill and buying the script so she can stay at work. Discernment tells you when to step in and help with something.
It always shuts them up.
They do not want to use their own money, heck, they don’t even want to talk to a needy single mom. They don’t want to hear the words “personal sacrifice” and “personal involvement” but that is exactly what Jesus intended.

As the Batman villain Egghead would say:

“EGGS-ACTLY!”

At this point, we shouldn’t evne call them liberals anymore. Perhaps socialists, fascists, or....PROGRESSIVEVIKS!

:)

*GASP* What about the wall of seperation between church and state!! (Chuckle)

I’m no expert, but if you’ll note, the further America has moved away from God, the faster she has descended into the Abyss. SE Cupp, an avowed atheist, noted this in her book “Losing our Religion”.

The Judeo-Christian values that founded this country are the key to its revival(and survival). Atheist societies fail and fail miserably. See Fascist Italy, Nazi Germany, the USSR, and the DPRK for further details.

For those who think that I’m advocating theocracy, they have another thing coming. They don’t work, either. See Iran and what’s left of Trashcanistan for further details.

Oh but the feeding the poor part of the government intrusion is fine so long as it gets them into heaven without having to go to church on Sunday!

I personally think liberals believe God will forgive any and all sexual sins so long as they vote for Socialists to feed the poor.
Seriously.

I have a “gift” for the obama government. Never one to sneer at really great ideas, I imported it from the liberal bastion of NYC. (New York Collective.)
It probably does not have a monetary value, but the euphoric result from using it is priceless and it doesn’t require batteries.
Because I am so magnanimus, I give them freely and often to the entire government on a very regular basis because there is no other entity so deserving.
I believe they call it a “Bronx cheer.” (It might also be known as something else.)
They are used most often in conjunction with hand gestures for routine finger excercises.

A great book for you: “Liberal Fascism” by Jonah Goldberg.

If you haven’t read it, please do. If you have, I’d like to hear any comments you have about it.
