Our system moves slowly. If all Senators and Hussein had been up for reelection in 2010, we would own both Congress and the Presidency.

Rats have time to buy their retirement homes and Rinos have time to repent. If they don't, adios to more in 2012.

Our nation is fundamentally conservative. I think (and hope)we shall step back from the abyss.

The simple fact is when one votes for someone just because there’s an “R” behind their name, nothing will change. There were a few rinos that got the voted out. But the Tea Party helped re-elect some rinos, too.

got to disagree with Rush a little here. I don’t think any old candidate can beat Obama. Only one that will fight for conservatism and so far I have only seen maybe 3 or 4 that will do that and only one with enough charisma, authority and reach to make it a race against the billion dollar man. and that is Gov Palin.

Wishful thinking. The DC career politicians are under siege. The general public is patiently waiting for round two for some more removal of the useless leaders in both parties who don’t get it. Every blog, every news article, the posters are irate and want scalps (regardless of political ideology). If unemployment and Bernake created inflation continue kicking in, all of the DC guys may be wiped out in a tidal wave next election. It has become painfully clear to the average American that our leaders serve Wall St. and essentially have sold us down the river.

The state-ran corporate media is also suffering as ridiculous spin after spin keeps hitting the ground with a thud. Their attempts to convince people “all is well” is not working as people are experiencing a totally different reality. In the internet age this will just accelerate the demise of the state-ran corporate media.
